Guest guest
Please continue to keep in your prayers! . . . She's a tough little girl, but she's being tested! Thanks, Rogene Note: forwarded message attached. Rogene, We are back home now.Thank you & everyone so much for all of the prayers. & I are very grateful for the needed prayers for our . got pretty sick with the anesthesia. They gave her Zofran and two other drugs to try to calm her tummy, but nothing seemed to work...They did cast the arm which was grateful for as the cast gives more arm/elbowsupport. There was difficullty with getting a IV in her because of her skin, so they put the IV in herfoot this time. She did not like this because her feet hurt her anyway all of the time...but they hadto do what they had to do in order to help her~ I know we as 's parents are just very happy with the medical help! This help for may help her to have some better quality of life for her future...whatever the future may bring. Thursday the doctor had to split the cast because of swelling and splitting of the arm cast helped with pain. So she was really happy at that point. was also fitted for a finger splint on her right hand,(5th finger). The contracture has gotten very bad and the hope is that the finger splint may help the contracture tonot get any worse. When she gets the cast off (end of July)they will fit her for a finger splint on the left hand, (5th finger). Also, please continue to pray for . She is having bowel issues...has not had a BM since Tuesday...the morphine and hydrocodone does not help her situation of her bowel problems (NORMALLY she may not gofor up to 6 days)...so this morning (Saturday) she is taking CastorOil (stimulant laxative). I have never used Castor Oil...so I hope I am doing the right thing. Our WalMart did not have Fletcher's...I have used this on our children before, but never used Castor Oil before.Rogene, if anyone has any suggestions on laxatives for children, I would like to hear them. I am forcing her to drink alot of water. She hates to drink because it may be difficult for her to swallow. She does try to eat alot of fruits, veges, and grains... Anyway, all in all the surgery went fine. I will keep you posted & we REALLY appreciate all of the prayers! Again, thank you~ Take care, & too >From: Rogene S <saxony01@...>> <fuchsmorrissey@...>>Subject: Fwd: Re: Fwd: Prayers for >Date: Mon, 11 Jul 2005 13:40:50 -0700 (PDT)>>Thanks Kathy,>>I know that has a number of doctors.
