New 97532 and 97533 CPT Codes

Since the 97770 CPT code (Development of cognitive skills...) is no

more and two new codes have been created in its wake, 97532

(Development of cognitive skills...) and 97533 (Sensory integrative

techniques to enhance sensory processing...), I am curious if anyone

is using the 97532 code in Speech Therapy. We were told early last

year at my hospital by our charge master consultant that Speech could

not use the 97770 code, so I am curious if anyone knows if this holds

true for the 97532 code.
