Guest guest
Hi Daryl, Can't remember if I responded to your personal e-mail or not. I have read that sinus infections should not be treated with antibiotics. I went to the doctor about 3 months ago and he diagnosed me with a sinus infection. He didn't prescribe antibiotics. He put me on guiaffsen (spelling?) also known as musinex (OTC) and advil sinus. I only took the guiaffsen and purchased tylenol sinus instead. Advil makes me depressed so I can't take it. Later I thought that it was odd that this doctor didn't put me on antibiotics but then read an article that sinus infections shouldn't be treated with antibiotics. I was very surprised. My sinus infection did go away. Recently I haven't had any problems with sinus problems. Guiaffsen is also used to treat primary fibromyalgia. I no longer take the tylenol sinus because of the silicon dioxide in it. I wondered why everytime I took one before bedtime, I'd be sick the next day. Sick to the point where I'd be in bed all day! My yeast infections have also improved by taking odorless garlic tablets twice a day. I didn't have a doctors help with the herbal supplements. I must thank Colleen M. for that. I wrote to her about a month after explant after looking at her website. We had so many of the same symptoms, especially the weight gain. She told me what she was taking. I wrote everything down and a little over a month ago, I purchased everything that she is taking. I haven't lost weight but alot of the puffiness has slowly been going away. My sinus problems are better, my IBS has greatly improved and I haven't had a yeast infection in a month. However, I have been experiencing a new symptom. I've been feeling very dizzy. This just started two days ago. The room spins and/or the floor feels like it is tilted. I had some of this before explant but it has come back. Vertigo seems to run in the family so I'm not sure if that is what is going on with me now or not. I know after the last incident, I'm going to have to get my butt to a doctor because I fell on the floor the room was spinning so quickly! As for sugar cravings...I've had them all my life. I love sweets and have always been able to eat them without any ill affects. But when I became ill that all changed. I've always craved sweets from the time I was a child. They never caused yeast infections before. I might have had one yeast infection in three - four years. The implants sure did change all of that. Take care. Beth S. Guest guest
You might have had candida all your life. I think I did and that is why it got to the point of true sickness because it shows in lighter ways and then goes underground and becomes a huge problem and knocks you out!"Beth S." <schaffe88@...> wrote: Hi Daryl, Can't remember if I responded to your personal e-mail or not. Guest guest
Hi, Did you have yeast infections before having your implants? Maybe I should rephrase that. Did you have a 'normal' amount of yeast infections that a healthy woman would have before implants? Also, did you also crave sweet stuff your entire life? I lived on it. My diet was horrible. My habit was to have a piece of cake (that is my weakness CAKE!) and a cup of tea before I went to bed. I was able to sleep after drinking tea before bedtime. Things sure have changed! Beth S.
