Guest guest
I believe I have a good legal case but can't find an attorney in the D.C. area who will take it. They all seem to be saying. "It costs too much to pursue". Thoughts? References? Jeanne
Guest guest
I was told that the reason the attorneys don't take cases anymore is because the Federal court judge in the class action lawsuit limited the liability of the manufactures to local injuries ONLY. No other symtems and or illnesses count in the court room. One problem is you have three years to file, but the granulomas, local injuries usually donn't appear for many years later. The fact that the residual silicone is undetectable even with x-rays means that we have all been forced to have our cases heard BEFORE the real local damage even had a chance to present itself. Completely unfair. When I went to court the first time the granulomas didn't show. Two years later they did. It makes a huge difference to the manufactures. If you can't prove your case you can't win. Besides it cost at least 250,000 to try one of these cases and most states have a cap of 250,000 so even if you did win what would you win , barely enough to pay for the court costs. Guest guest
Dearest Beth and Jeanne: Please do not get to stressed over this. The day will come when lawyers will realize that we need help. Please contact every lawyer that you can think of and call them. I had a list of lawyers back in 1993 and I called everyone of them....finally one took my case. Love you both.....Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Re: Re: Lawyers needed to take saline cases - (LEA) I've heard that so often that I'm hearing it in my sleep!Gmmjfa@... wrote: I believe I have a good legal case but can't find an attorney in the D.C. area who will take it.
