Guest guest
I have the Garden of Life Multi Vitamin for women, as well as the Pefect Food (which is the green stuff). I did not do the AM and PM Cleanse capsules. I believe the Multi is a good product, and it has a great list of vitamins that it provides, but I find that I don't feel as well as I want to on multivitamins in general. I don't know if I am going to continue taking it. I have to say, that green stuff is just plain nasty! I cannot get it down. It tastes like a glass of my freshly mowed grass clippings. Ugh. It is sitting in my refridgerator and I am not sure what we are going to do with it. We got the big container. I've used it for cleansing enemas....guess that is the best idea I can come up with, next to trying to gag it down by holding my nose. And ahhh, the raw milk. I love it! It tastes no different than regular milk. It is much creamier though, because it is full fat, and my problem is that I love it so much that I end up drinking more than I should. It is not a dieter's friend, that is for sure. I drank so much over the Christmas holiday in making Chai latte's that I think I increased the level of inflammation in my body and I was getting bad back aches. I finally figured out the connection between drinking too much raw milk and my back, so I cut it back and I haven't had back pain since. We buy nothing but raw milk and raw milk cheeses for our family, and truthfully, I could not go back to homogenized, pasteurized milk now. When you know the difference between the two, you just can't. Anita has called it a miracle food....her son can't drink pasteurized milk due to the response he gets from it, but he CAN drink raw milk. That says something! I believe it helped me get off my thyroid meds... Hope that helps, Patty --- In , " cnjcramer " <cnjcramer@y...> wrote: > multi-vitamin & /or the Green Super Food or tried the Morning & Evening > AM & PM Cleanse capsules? > > I just finished his book The Maker's Diet & thought it was great!! > > What about drinking raw milk? Guest guest
-Patty i am glad that you made the connection between the raw milk and your back pain. I, too, got more symptoms if I drank too much. I actually think it may be a herx like effect since raw milk contains so many enzymes (and I herx like heck to enzymes!). Also, I can take the perfect food powder, the taste doesn't bother me. I take primal defense as a powder also. But I don't take the perfect food because it makes me herx terribly---like a 1/4 tsp a day does. I have my daughter on the multi and she does well on it. It helps her migraines. However I herx to it. I wonder if your not feeling as well may be a little bit of a herx. I am taking one living multi a day right now. Hopefully I will work up. is taking only 2 and is seeing good things. Perhaps you should cut down to 2 a day and see if you feel better on them? I think they are strong because they do contain so many things especially the mushrooms known to stimulate immune system! love, kathy -- In , " glory2glory1401 " <glory2glory1401@y...> wrote: > I have the Garden of Life Multi Vitamin for women, as well as the > Pefect Food (which is the green stuff).
