Patty, I was just going to ask Rogene what type of water pik to buy...I'm glad to have this info.

I had a similar experience as you, Rogene...the dentist put a crown on two teeth. I got a terrible infection and had to go to an endodontist. He tried to save the tooth because I begged, but it was only temporary and to no avail...a year later I had to have it pulled and now need a bridge.

Here's an article I came across today about the best non-toxic countertop/surface cleaner that is anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal:

"Take one spray bottle of regular 3% hydrogen peroxide and clean your surface. Then take another spay bottle of ordinary distilled white vinegar and clean your surface. That's all there is to it and it is very effective and safe!"

Thanks Patty,This is the most comprehensive article I've ever seenon dental hygiene! . . . I'm filing a copy of it forfuture reminders.I'm glad to know that H2O2 should be safe! It fitswith my recent experience. It certainly helped my gumsfaster and better than anything I've tried before . .. I HATE Listerine! . . . The stuff the dentists gaveme didn't make my mouth feel "right". . .There may be something else going on with your teeth.Repeated pregnacies can take a toll on teeth . . . I'dsuggest checking with a dental specalist, rather thanyour family dentist. . . . I'm afraid I don't knowwhat sets these doctors apart though! So far, price isthe only thing that's evident! Thanks again for the information . . . I'm going to goswish some H2O2 now!Love,RogeneOpinions expressed are NOT meant to take the place of advice given by licensed health care professionals. Shirley,

The water pik I use is " Water Pik " . . . :)

I read an article that said things cleaned with

hydrogen peroxide remained bacteria free longer than

with any other cleaner . . . including alcohol.

Rogene
