Oh, it’s your ITB, illiotibial band. This is a very common problem and I wouldn’t necessarily attribute it to having had implants unless a doctor has told you that it is related. A lot of active people have the problem. I did but yoga has taken care of it for me. If you keep your ITB stretched, the problem should clear up in time. The band is just getting tight and causing you pain and discomfort. Stretching it will lengthen it.

I know that stretching helps, and I do yoga three times a week and have done so for 2 years. Yoga actually overstreched me and that is how I got it. It is also caused by overstretching, not just by running or having lazy glutes. It isn't that common, because no one in here heard of it before and most people I tell have no clue what I am talking about until I show them the website. I do attribute it to the implants because implants caused my fibromyalgia and that makes me suceptible to many other problems.......even treatment is harder because I bruise easily inside the tissue as the doctor works on it DUE to the fibro, DUE to the implants. Thanks anyway!Kenda Skaggs <skaggs@...> wrote:

Your doctor knows best and if he/she thinks it is implant related it must be. Around here, it is extremely common. I saw a sports medicine doctor and he said it was one of the most common problems he treats. Mine was chronically tight so yoga helped me. I never had implants so mine was not implant caused. I hope your PT helps you.
