This information is incorrect. Clients qualify for the home health benefit

(therapy, nursing, whatever) in the same way they always did. The

new PPS system changes reimubursement to the agency. Agencies

receive a higher per-episode reimbursement for care to individuals with

some ortho or neuro diagnoses, and achieve a higher payment category

if 10 or more therapy visits are provided. But those who don't bring in

the larger payments are still eligible for the same appropriate care they

always were.
