Guest guest
Lynda, Yeah that must have been the one. I knew it had to be late 80's or 1990. I remember just sitting down to watch to World Series when the tv went blank for a few minutes. When it came back on, we realized what happened but didn't know until the next day just how bad it had been. It must be terrifying going through something like that. I visited San Francisco back in '01 just a few months before I became really sick. That was on my mind but it was one of the most beautiful cities I had ever seen.Lynda <coss@...> wrote: No, that was San Francisco, but Northridge had one that did some pretty specific damage and made a lot of buildings unusable. Guest guest
Yes, I am glad I missed both of those. I was in London when the OK City bombing happened. Boy, was that interesting from the British point of view. And I was in Canada the last time Quebec was voting to secede and failed by a thin margin. I got around a lot during the years I did so many conferences and meeting on breast implants. Lynda At 09:43 PM 7/11/2005, you wrote: >Lynda, > >Yeah that must have been the one. Guest guest
Lynda, I had no idea you've been fighting this cause for so long. I know that is where my life is leading me because I don't want anyone to go through what I went through. My case is minor compared to the other horror stories I've heard. It just makes me very bitter and angry. Lynda <coss@...> wrote: Yes, I am glad I missed both of those. I was in London when the OK City bombing happened. Guest guest
I started in 1990 and my group has been going since 1991. It has been a long haul. I am a social worker by trade, so I guess I fell into this naturally, but sure would have liked to do something else with my life (did not like being so ill for so long).
