Guest guest
Dawn Marie, Have you talked to your druggist about all the meds you're taking? . . . Sounds terrible. . . In particular, Predisone is horrible . . . Long term effects are osteoprosis, lowered immune responses, and an increased likelyhood of developing diabetes. Whatever you do though, don't quit any medications suddenly! . . . IMHO, I would try to taper off of any medication that I didn't feel was working, or that the side effects were worse than the problem. Some medications, like Effexor, can be broken down into empty capsules so the dose can be reduced. At one time, I was up to about ten medications . . . Before I learned that I couldn't find a cure in a pill and that I had to take reponsibility for getting better through diet, lifestyle, sleep, etc. I've been doing well with only a pill (Temazapam) for sleeping and a very small amount of Effexor (1/4 capsule) for pain. Speaking of sleep . . . I gotta get some! Hugs, Rogene --- dmm0118 <dmm0118@...> wrote: > You are truly a (my) guardian angel and well of > information.
