Guest guest
Certainly a pocket of fluid will wall itself off and become hard, and this is undoubtedly what it is. Aspiration may help, but sometimes women have to have a minor surgery to correct this. It is not common, but it does happen. Guest guest
Sandy, I'm so sorry you are still having problems. . . I can understand Dr. Melmed not wanting to commit to what the problem is. . . I'm sure, once he sees what's going on, he'll be able to tell you more. Hopefully it will be a simple procedure . . . That's a heck of a long way to go for a " simple " procedure though! Guest guest
Sandy, It is way too early to start seeing resolution of thyroid problems. This is more than likely going to take years. In fact, after my explant, my rheumatoid factor got higher! I was explanted in February, tested in April with elevated RF, and by August (being in the same boat as you, wanting to see evidence of the numbers going down), that RF was even higher than before. I was very disappointed. In fact, I was so scared about the results that I quit getting tested, because the doctor was a jerk and he basically made a joke out of the appointment. That's when I went with naturpathic medicine instead. It took several years before I got tested again, and my RF went from 159 to 58. Normal is below 40 and so I hope I am there by now. I don't know for sure because I just don't worry about the tests. I am really sorry you are having post explant issues, but I am sure it is something that can be resolved. It will just take a little time and effort, and so being patient about the healing process is going to help you in the long run. Dr. Melmed will know what is going on when he sees you. But as for those thyroid issues, don't get overexcited about testing. Take some deep breaths, relax, get on with life as best you can, and do some good detoxing. In time, you are going to see improvements if you are diligent, but in my opinion, you need to be thinking in years instead of weeks where the thyroid is concerned. may have been a special case where her antithyroid antibodies came down by the thousands right after explant. Her were higher than everyone else's too. But I am not sure how long after explant we are talking about...she's been through a successful pregnancy now, and that is huge! I hope that will give you inspiration that your thyroid issues can get better in time, but it took years to get to that point too. Guest guest
Sandy You are in my thoughts and prayers that you will get this situation resolved easily when you see Dr. Melmed on monday. It is rare to have a complication, but that doesn't make it easier when you are the one to experience one. Please try to keep positive that you have done the right thing. It is way too early to tell if your explant will affect your thyroid antibodies. Right now getting this situation taken care of is a priority. After that, try working on cleansing your body, changing any diet deficiencies, etc. I do believe that getting the implants out will affect your body for the better.
