But actually, there is GOOD reason to blame a lot on thyroid. There are SO SO many people out there who have problems AND they think they are fine because they are " treated " . But their treatment is T4-only, and they are not told that it can be inadequate. My sister-in-law is on Synthroid, appears to have plenty of energy, no depression----but guess what? She has problems with her cholesterol!! That's a strong symptom of being hypo, and in her case, being inadequately treated. Janie
Guest guest
Janie thanks for telling me about the armour and the nature-throid. I think I will first try armour and see what happens. That if if my doctor agrees. I also think I will find some of those brazil nuts since I can't seem to find 50 mg. of selenium without yeast. As far as the weight I just feel so hungry all the time. I have this real sweet tooth that I know is part of the problem right now. I also find it hard not to eat carbs. So what do you eat instead of carbs? I have acid problems so I can't eat many things. Lately I am so tired all the time. I can't wait for my doctors appt. The good news is I have no itching and am sleeping well. I did stop progesterone and estrogen.
