Please give me more information if you have it. All other replies to this are welcomed too. Thanks in advance..... Love & hugs.. Bert. Bert, My first flare was during the last trimester of my third pregnancy over 6 years ago. My GI told me that 1/3 flare during pregnancy, 1/3 get better during pregnancy, and 1/3 stay the same during pregnancy. I was thinking back and realized that I had a lot of RUQ pain during my first pregnancy, but it being my first I just said OK when the doctor told me I was probably constipated (although I was quite regular). My GI has advised me to not have anymore children. Cheryl

Greg in Sidney, OH (Laurie's husband) I don't know. None of us here are doctors, and we go by what we've read and what we've experienced. It definitely, definitely sounds like she should talk to her doctor immediately. Prednisone use makes one more susceptible (not quite the right word) to diabetes. I don't know if such brief, low-dose use of Prednisone adds to diabetes use. However, if someone I knew told me of those symptoms, I would insist they call the doctor that very day. Find out NOW. Then you can either treat any problem shown by the tests or get it off your mind. Harper Georgia, this is a long shot, but if your 1) your urine culture comes back negative and 2) you have a frequent desire to urinate, you might want to ask your doctor about interstitial cystitis, which is fairly rare and generally believed to be an autoimmune disease. I was implanted for 11 years. I was incredibly ill and had lost nearly everything at one point. Like you I actively searched for help and was at my wits end when I found this group. That was about 3 months ago. I had my explant surgery nearly 3 weeks ago, and I am a totally different person. I woke up feeling a significant and immediate difference. MY explant was done en loc with a lift. I was pain free and never needed more than a couple of tylenol. Since then I have discovered that half of my ailments are virtually gone and I am able to work and exercise daily. I am in the process of detoxing, and sometimes that makes me feel pretty yucky, but it is something that has to be done. You can expect that after your explant you will have to actively work for at least a year to really acheive the results that you want. Changing your diet and exercising regularly will help more than you know. Drink tons of spring water! What area are you in? Would you be willing to travel for a good doctor? I would recommend that you very slowly start taking yourself off of your medications in preparation for the surgery. You'll want to be off them by 2 weeks prior to surgery. You may feel worse before you feel better, I did, but it is oh so worth it in the end!!!!Hugs,________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Message: 3 Date: Mon, 11 Jul 2005 09:12:11 EDTFrom: halvey70@...Subject: Re: Sue - stormSuewell - it is a little scary but have some pretty neat home footage to show my kids when we move out of here eventually.... nature is a crazy thing. Lukily it looks like we picked a good builder!! we lost quite a few shingles and some gutters but that was all - and out little oak tree. that was sad. anyways being in 100 mhp plus winds gets a little crazy - especially w/ a toddler. no electricity and sound of it is the worse part. very eerie to hears winds go by like that.anyways - this one is over - getting ready for the next as I am sure it is around the corner - I HATE HURRICANE SEASON!
