Guest guest
Found this news article in Canada- Physicians of the future will " need to be independent and critical thinkers, capable of appraising evidence free from personal bias and inappropriate influence, " say Canada's medical educators. They will also need to be " skilled clinicians, able to adapt to new knowledge and changing patterns of illness, as well as new interventions, personalized therapeutics and rapidly changing medical science and healthcare systems. " Seems to be the opposite of the direction where the USA is going- where we are on hamster wheels, and big business seems to call the shots, etc. The exception are IMP's Long live the IMP's. I think about where dentists were in 1980s, where anesthetists were in 90's, where movie theaters were in 2000's. All have re invented themselves and have new life. We are going to get our day too.
