Guest guest
Me, too! I've always chocked it up to allergies of some kind (can't afford allergy docs either..lol). I have to get up a couple of times a night and clear my throat because it feels like I can't swallow at all. But yeah, I always have to clear my throat. Seems to have started about 5-6 years ago if I recall. Ella > > That's a new one to me. Guest guest
Ella, Also, long standing hypo makes your voice lower and deeper. This could be in part what they are referring to. on one of the web sites I found that mentioned throat > symptoms of hypothyroidism, and it explained that some of that is > from increased mucus...caused by the hypothyroidism. Guest guest
I just got another flashback of my mom before she died...gave me the shivers. Her voice, as I've explained it so many times, sounded like Demi with laryngitis...and her voice got SO deep! I thought it had to do with menopause or something. Guest guest
I catch my voice sounding " low " at times and it sort of freaks me out. I immediately think it sounds, well, less than feminine..probably compared to the way I usually sound. But this could also be perimenopause, right?? I mean a " perhaps in my case, " because I've not exactly been dx'd with hypo yet or anything.
