Guest guest
Hello to all, HAPPY NEW YEAR. I want to say, that for some reason my post are getting lost. I think I wasn't resigned in when I have been doing them. I have been reading and still watching the boards closely. Tereasa no need to thank me. I told you I would step up when you and site needed it. Even though most don't know me cause I am the silent one, and didn't really seem to listen to what I had to say. They will listen cause they will get to know me, I am not going any where. You!, I know have always known and beleived I would be here if and when anyone needed me. I am a fighter, and I have and will always fight for something I see that is a good thing. Welcome to all new memebers, that are coming in the last few days. I know it seems comfusing with all the post you seem to be reading about people leaving and the bickering. Don't worry about it, this site was a family and it will be again. We (the ones who have been here from the begining) will set examples for the others to get back on track. I will thank you all who have suggested different books to read. There are a few I didn't read, and they are great to have the newly dx'ed to read and start accepting and understanding this confusing disorder. , I am sorry you have gone so long without a dx you truely beleive and trust. I also have been giong several years trying to really find out what it going on in this body of mine. Here is something that is going to confuse you. There are those who get swelling and rashes you talk about. That so many others are telling you are not a syptom of fibro. In most cases swelling is a sign that it is not fibro, or that there is soemthing else going on, but it is very possible to have swelling with fibro. I will find the info and sites I have found that confirm this for everyone. Doctors and researchers debate this syptom all the time. Melody, I used the Valerian root for years, it did help me sleep, and get back to sleep which was actually the hardest thing to do.It did stop working for me though, who knows it might help again. I think I might try it again. I am glad to see it is helping you and that you posted on it, so others might try it and see if it will help them. Tris I am glad or join us, I also am glad that you and your daughters can laugh and joke about different things about the misible syptoms fibro can cause. I have found especial with the pain, that if I make faces or act silly when it is at very high levels, it helps my daughter not worry about me as much.
