Can we please stop this nonsense and get back to out purpose here of helping people and supporting one another? there are so many sick women out there that I am steering to this group and I fear they will run far from it if they get a gander of some of the late posts.... please - we are all adults here and are here for one reason only - for love, help and support not constant criticism and bickering over who is right and who is wrong. We are all here to help and that is all... giving it or getting it. all the rest means nothing and is just a speedbump in many womens recovery.

I have been ill lately and very busy with personal issues... I try to log on daily to make sure I answer every new person in need or anyone who has an urgent question that I am capable of answering.... not to read 20 messages at a time of fighting and arguing. It is a waste of effort and time as I do not have the energy to deal with that mess. please limit the personal issues to personal email addresses so they can be resolved as adults and leave the group discussions open so we can get involved and try to help without all the bitter interruptions. It simply ruins my day when I have 30 minutes to try to make a difference in a sick womans life and use half of it up reading these nasty emails to one another. I usually never respond to these but I am growing tired of trying to pick and choose which messages are good to read/help and which ones will ruin my day. Some of us have been around for a very long time devoting a large portion of our lives to this group and helping the women that have been so very mislead by the medical community and FDA. We are trying to make a difference in their lives and their families hoping to help keep others from making the same mistakes. Some of us have devoted days and weeks of our lives to this issue on TV and news and documentaries even though we will never be compensated and are slowly dying inside as a result of what has happened to us just so we can try to make a difference to somebody we may never meet. I happen to be one of those people who will do whatever it takes to make that difference... I have humiliated myself publicly and will continue to do so until the day I am gone as this is something I feel so strong about. I could care less what others think and will pass my message every way i know how even if that includes writing a message at midnight on a Saturday, urging my group to get along even though there is a hurricane banging at me door as we speak - I have received over 7 inches of rain the last few hours and have had two tornadoes touch down within two miles of my home this evening but I am still here trying to help others see the light. Luckily for my family it looks as though the worst part of this storm may spare my home and family this time but I sincerely hurt for the ones that will lose it all, including their lives as a result, as I went through 4 of these nasty storms last year.

please everyone - there is a lot of crap going on in this world that is much more important then all the bickering of late ... horrible terrorist bombings, hurricanes, it always gets worse. please let these arguments go and speak of what is important right now. Helping put sisters that need us most... not putting each other down and being hurtful.

love to all,

SHARI

we are praying for you and for all the people who are inthe path of

these destructive storms. I pray this will not be like last

season. I am sorry to hear that this site is stressing you out

too. It shouldn't be that way and I apologise to any and all women

who come here and feel that way. This site is made up of many

different human beings, with different needs, thoughts, values, and

yet very similar in that we have all been sick. We are all striving

to get better and to support each other in the process.

So once again, I would ask people to reread their posts before they

hit the send button and make sure that they do not sound offensive,

defensive, insensitive, judgemental, accusatory, or rude in any

way. I think if we would take that second look before sending, we

could alleviate hurt feelings. Secondly, if a post still is

perceived as offensive when it wasn't meant to (and even if it was),

then I would ask the persons that are offended to email the offender

privately---and again, considerately, about their feelings. This

will usually straighten things out fairly quickly. More

importantly, it will keep other people from jumping in, taking

sides, and making more out of a situation than actually exists.

What is that old saying? " If you don't have something nice to say,

then don't say anything at all? " We could all stand less stress in

our lives and more compassion. So lets start showing it! I

personally think that everyone here is a valued member and I don't

ever want anyone to feel that they have less value than anyone

else. If your feelings get hurt, a post went unnoticed, or someone

disagreed with you or sounded less than friendly, please be the

bigger person, chalk it up to a bad day on someone's part, and let

it go. Please!

love you all,

kathy
