I dry calendula flowers, lavender buds, mint leaves, chamomile flowers and others to use in soaps. I've used sage leaves also. You can either powder them and add or leave a few whole, the calendula petals look pretty in soap. Guest guest
I usually use about 2 teasp. of sage in my 5 lb cp batch. I find certain spices do lend some aroma as well. Sage is very antibacterial and also lends healing effects. All good colonists planted it in their backyards to ward off colds and croup. I drink sage tea in the winter for that as well as women issues. dEb > > >

Guest guest
Hi, I've been looking forward to hearing from you. Have you had a chance to check out my e-bay ads questions and answers section? I do go into some detailabout the kids in the answers and I have posted one or two letters over the past week explaining how I got my boys well. They are seventeen and fourteen now. Both of them were severly ill with a huge list of medical problems for about four years. I can tell you the exact day they each got sick and the exact time that the whole thing turned around for us. They have been doing GREAT NO DOCTORS NO MORE SPECIALISTs AND NO MORE HOSPITAL VISITS OR TESTS. They have been well for around eight years or so now. The older boy still has a few problems such as heat sensitivity but other than that their only problems now are their mouths and their teenage size attitudes which I noticed tend to grow when the nintendo is on.! No really there good boys I just like to play around. I remember years ago i was so frightened as so unsure of what was happening to them. But i found that knowledge replaces FEAR very quickly! I can not gaureente that what i have done for my boys will work for your sons or any of the other kids for that matter but if thier symtoms are anything like my boys i'd sure like to try and help. My oldest son was diagnosed with lupus, suffered from gastroinetinal dismotility problems, a skin disorder, rashes, hyper behavioral problems ect... the younger JRA, unusual rashes and skin disorders, gastrointestinal problems blisters, both boys suffered from severe fibromyalgia and fatigue. All GONE!!!almost over night. I'd like to hear your story if you have the time to share. And I really look forward to talking with you some more.
