Guest guest
I think I answered most of your question Lana. but one thing I will add. The fungal and Primal defense do something that others do not. While killing off all of the bad they provide a huge amount of probiotics and HSO's that you can't get from a normal diet. many of us, myself included, have taken te prescriptions like Diflucan or Lamasil. the problem with those is that they do not give anything back to your body. At least with the defense program you are feeding an already weakened system in order to balance it out. Does that help answer your questions? Guest guest
I think so. It's still confusing to me. You mean fungal defense cleans people out, of the silicone? Or do you mean that it treats infection? I haven't heard of all this defense stuff before i saw you guys taking it and it goes against all the stuff I read and learned, So much like some of the ladies that wanted to know about what we've been doing i am trying to understand what it is yoy guys are talking about with these defense meds and why everyone is taking them? Thats all. Guest guest
Yes, I haven't been feeling good since taking it because it is killing all the fungus inside me and I am reacting to what is called the " die- off " of the fungus. Yes, the fungal defense cleans you out. No, not from the silicone, but from the other problems that most of us who have had saline implants suffer from. Remember, this board is mostly women who have had saline implants. Fortunately for us, we are not in the same position that you are. We do not have silicone floating around in our bodies the way that women who had the silicone gel implants had. With the saline we can clean out all or most of the silicone with our explant surgery, however we suffer from other things that saline causes. The saline can become moldy and full of fungus, and that can leak into our bodies. So I understand why you would be confused, we can have very different problems with a lot of the same overall symptoms. I am probably not the best one to be describing this to you, since I was just explanted. Hopefully one of our seasoned members will jump in here and help with the explanation. : )
Guest guest
Lana, Fungal Defense fights fungal infections, such as candida. So, it is not meant to target silicone, it is meant to target an overpopulation of fungus in the digestive tract, which can turn into even more dangerous forms of resistant fungus. That is why it is so important to catch it early and get rid of it as soon as possible. Candida infections can become so bad that it takes years to get it under control and at times, very drastic measures. On one group I belonged to about candida, a woman posted about having a candida infection so badly that it took a diet of raw meat for 2 years to get rid of it. (Candida feeds on sugars). It sounds drastic, but sometimes people are in drastic circumstances and will do drastic things for a cure. I don't recommend a raw meat diet for 2 years to get rid of candida, but I do think we need to be very careful with our diet and take good quality supplements that work for us. I've done the Fungal Defense according to the directions and it worked for me. Of course, I felt the effects of the die off--dying fungus leave toxic residues that need to be whisked out of the body, so it makes sense that you will feel a little icky. My mother also took it and felt the herx effect, but then noticed a surge of energy. (She has knee implants and is suffering like we are.) I also take the Primal Defense. When I was in India, some of my teammates suffered from diarrhea, and once I saw the beginnings in myself, I started dosing the Primal Defense, Olive leaf Extract and Colloidal Silver to ward it off. I didn't suffer--it worked! Primal Defense provides the body with good forms of bacteria for the digestive tract, and the Maker's Diet promotes fermented foods that also provide healthy digestive flora. I am not big on lots of supplements, but I do believe that there are some products out there that we really need for regaining our health. (That's why I think it is so important that we don't let our government run over us on this one!) Patty > I think so. It's still confusing to me. Guest guest
Lana, I'd suggest reading Rubin's book, Patient Heal Thyself. He explains the need for replenishing the beneficial organisms very well. Everyone has the negative organisms in their body . . .. An estimated 300+ fungal/yeast organisms. It's when the immune system gets suppressed that the negative organims overwhelm the positive organism. The body doesn't digest foods well at that point, leading to a host of other symptoms. From what I've seen, virtually all women who have had implants also have a candida/yeast/fungal problem. Hugs, Rogene
