liver congestion and detox

I have the pain at the base of the neck also when I detox. It gets

so bad that I get terrible headaches with it. I know it is my

liver, but whenever I try something to detox ---supplements, coffee

enemas, beets, enzymes--I get in so much pain I can't stand it. The

pain is from terrible muscle spasms and twitches virtually all over

my body which then causes tendon tightening and accompanying pain

everywhere. I wish I knew how to proceed. I did do one liver

cleanse that seemed to help my food intolerances. I probably need

to try that again soon. The first one didn't bother me, but then

the first time I try anything it seems ok. It is when I keep trying

something or taking a supplement etc, that the reactions start to

set in. Over the last 2 months I have slowly added garlic, flax

seed oil, and oil of oregano back in on a daily basis. It was going

good until I started trying beet juice--now I am back in a pain

syndrome again. This is so frustrating to me. I know I need to

detox and do these things, but when I do, I feel lousy and it just

gets worse. I have never been able to outlast the herx. At some

point, I can no longer tolerate the symtpoms anymore, and I have to

back off until I can get back to a place of no pain again. It

appears I am very similar to Anita's son. I would love to know if

Dr. Leu has encountered this and how he handle's patients like

myself that react vehemently and endlessly to every method of detox

or supplementation. Any ideas? Thanks

Hugs, kathy
