Guest guest
Dawn your message brought tears to my eyes, I'm so very sorry you had to go through all of that! How awful, I only had implants in for 6 months but they made me so very sick with every symptom you can think of MS, Fibro. etc like symptoms, you need to find a PS who will remove your implants en bloc, or travel to Dr Feng or Melmed, and I suggest detoxing, herbal supplents, eating organic when possible etc. its been a long road 11 months after my explant but I'm almost back to my old self healthwise & you will be too in time, the ladies here are great & we will help you every step. Guest guest
Dawn I am so happy you found us - your message sounded like me two years ago before I found this group!! I am glad you stayed up to read all the stories - that was the most convincing part for me - almost every story had a piece of me in it!!! So sorry to hear about all you have lost... we have all been there one way or another and know how hard it is - just know now you have found a ton of friends who understand you, believe you, and can help you!! the very first thing you need to think of is getting those nasty implants out.... we have a ton of recommended surgeons on the site - they are not all the same, trust me. you do not want to just go anywhere to have it done. What area of the country are you in? we can help navigate you to the best place for you and your budget. Of course detoxing will be the way to go but it won't help much if you do not remove the source. I was the same as you - years and years with millions of doc visits with no answers - I had my implants a total of 7 years - been explanted for 2 now. You have come to the right place - there are many women her is different stages of healing that can offer you much support and help. Please know that you can come her for answers!!! welcome love shari www.breastimplantawareness.org/shari.htm
Guest guest
Hi and I am so glad that you found our group!! You need to get your implants out as soon as you can find a qualified plastic surgeon who will remove them carefully and properly. By properly, I mean a total capsulectomy (taking the capsule your body formed around each implant out also.) You will also need to detoxify your body aggressively for pathogens, silicone, and any metals present. That is usually started after explanting. Until that time arrives though, you can still drink lots of pure water, make changes in your diet by cutting out sugar, processed foods and increasing raw vegetables. Juicing is especially beneficial in getting necessary enzymes into your body. It sounds like you have been through a lot. I too, felt like I was dying before I got my implants out almost four years ago. Today I am doing really well. I had my saline implants in eleven years before I figured out how sick they were making me. For most of that time, there was a gradual deteriation in health that I attributed to my fms. But then all of a sudden things took off in a terrifying direction with my developing over twenty different weird symptoms over a period of weeks. I had so much brain dysfunction that almost 100% of the time I felt like I was drunk and couldn't concentrate on the simplest thing. This terrible symptom was the first symptom to leave after I got my explant. Virtually within 2 weeks I was back at the mall shopping with my daughter. Before that, I lay down most of each day and was not even able to concentrate on watching a movie--both because of my brain dysfunction and because I was so distracted by the constant pain in my hands, arms and feet. Be encouraged, there is hope for you...and a light at the end of the tunnel! We are here to help you any way we can. Blessings, kathy > Hello my name is Dawn and I am new here. Guest guest
Dawn, You are standing where many of our women were standing not all that long ago. The good news is that you can get much, much better . . . The bad news is that it takes more time and dedication than we would like! There's a lot of information in the archives . . . but, the starting place is finding the right surgeon. Hopefully you can find one near where you live. Second, is to begin to understand the need for getting your diet in order. NO sugar, refined grains, junk food, coffee, processed foods, etc. Drink plenty pure water! . . Chances are you will need to gradually change your diet or you won't stick with it. It can be assumed that you have a systemic Candida/fungal problem. . . I'd suggest that you first understand the issue . . . a book like " The Yeast Connection " (there are many) can help you understand why you need to manage your diet carefully. There are products that can help speed you along . . . raw crushed garlic is one of them - outstanding and cheap! A prescription medication, Diflucan, is excellent, but cannot be taken long term without risking liver damage. If you're on Medicaid, there's a good chance they will pay to remove your implants - but our recommended surgeons may not be covered. If so, we can help you with questions for a prospective surgeon so you will get the results you want! Dawn . . . could you add an initial to your name so we can keep you and our other Dawn straight? . . . Welcome to our group! . . . I hope you find the information you need here! Hugs and prayers, Rogene
Guest guest
How about I go by Dawn Marie ? Let me know if that works so that there isn't any confusion. I emailed dpettitt about the study she is conducting on pre-eximplant woman. Hopefully she will get back to and send me her kit so that I can get this ball rolling. Everyone on this site as been incredible !! The information, the advice, the hope...absolutely incredible. All of you have been such a God send to me. I tried a bathing detox today...a bath with 1/2 cup of sea salts. It sounded harmless.....MY WATER WAS GREEN !! My best friend witnessed it !! Disgusting....she said it reminded her of pond water. Green, murky and algae like. I was stunned, amazed and most of all disgusted !!! I had to take a shower afterwards !! I drink plenty of water now however it is tap water. Because of what Sjogrens Syndrome does to your mouth I was told to drink tap for the extra floride. I'll drink bottled but I need to know if anybody has any ideas on how to get additional flouride. I'm on my way now to check out plastikos.com and Dr. Feng's websites !! Once again thanks for your help and God Bless !!
Guest guest
Dawn Marie, Wow! that salt bath really pulled some stuff out! If you can get access to a sauna, especially an infrared one, you'll probably be shocked again! Sjogrens Syndrome is another problem that goes with implants . . . Floride is another toxin that is being foisted off on the public. The dentist can give you a floride treatment just on your teeth if that's why you're drinking floride treated water. If you can possibly avoid ingesting it, I would try! There are some products formulated for dry mouth, but right now, their names escape me. . . Maybe an internet search would get you there - or someone here has the names. Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Dawn Marie, If by chance, Deb Pettitt doesn't get back with you immediately, know that she's very sick from her own implants right now too. She will get back with you when she's able. She's in the process of scheduling surgery so she can get on with the study as soon as she feels a bit better. Guest guest
Actually, flouride is a poison. You don't want flouride, as it can affect the thyroid negatively, not to mention many other body functions. Our family goes out of the way to avoid flouride! You might want to check into this further....here is a trusted source for health information: http://www.townsendletter.com/Jan_2003/fluoridecontroversy0103.htm > How about I go by Dawn Marie ?
