Guest guest
I am not that good with math, please, What is the amoumt of water to 35% to get 3%? Thank you, ________________________________ To: DimethylSulfoxide-DMSO Sent: Monday, January 2, 2012 1:42 PM Subject: Re: Re: Diatomaceous Earth & Calcium Bentonite (clay)  I have been a big peroxide user for 15 years. Food Grade just means that it is in concentrated form. i.e. 12% on up to 35%. The stuff you get in Walmart and drug stores in the brown bottle is 3% and they put stabilizers in that to keep it peroxide on the shelf. So to use the concentrated form, you basically will dilute that down to 3% and it does not have any stabilizers in it then. Guest guest
Am guessing that you would dilute it_around_ 1/12th of current strength. Or 1200 %. Guest guest
Thanks for the sugestion. Gerry..But, if I use 1/4 cup of 35%? how much water would you add to make 3%? this math is more than I can cope with,,but I don't need it now..what I will proble do when I need it, I will go to my local Rx and ask..here at the Target Rx, they are extremly helpful, and will order any thing for you...look it up online and order it if they can,,even bottles with dropers etc. in fl ________________________________ To: DimethylSulfoxide-DMSO Sent: Monday, January 2, 2012 5:05 PM Subject: Re: H202-dilution  Am guessing that you would dilute it_around_ 1/12th of current strength. Guest guest
There are many charts on the web that you can find for the formula to dilute 35% food grade hydrogen to formulate a 3% mix using distilled water. Try to use glass containers as much as possible and be very careful handling the stuff. It can burn and turn your skin white. For smaller quantities just add 1 oz of 35% food grade HP to 11 ozs of distilled water = 12 ozs of 3% HP. Here is one formula: http://www.using-hydrogen-peroxide.com/peroxide-dilution-chart.html --------------------------------------------------------------------------------\ ----------- Mixing 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide to get 3% hydrogen peroxide To make a gallon of 3% peroxide: In a clean gallon container, combine 1 and ¼ cups of 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide with 14 and ¾ cups of water. *To make 3% hydrogen peroxide from 35% hydrogen peroxide, the general mixing guideline is: 1 part 35% hydrogen peroxide plus 11 parts water = 3% hydrogen peroxide. You can use this guideline with any quantity you need to mix.* * --------------------------------------------------------------------------------\ ----------------------------------- * *Just google 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide dilution formula* ** *Lola* On Mon, Jan 2, 2012 at 7:25 PM, wrote: > ** > > > Thanks for the sugestion. Guest guest
My suggestion, if you are using gallons, start with 1/4 cup and then taste it. If you taste the over-oxygenation at that dilution, then stay there. If you don't taste anything, go by what you taste and then add another 1/4 cup or less and taste it again. Then if you still have to increase the peroxide, just add by teaspoons until it tastes right. Yes it will burn and turn your skin white. But it will not burn like fire or battery acid and leave a scar. If you get any on your skin, just run water over it and rub it. The burning will not last more than a few minutes. I have burned myself a few times on purpose just to experience a peroxide burn and it is not nasty and your skin will turn back to color after the pain is gone. Guest guest
Seems like 3 cups would do it. > > Thanks for the sugestion.
