Guest guest
I have had a terrible problem with bruising. I had my B-12 levels checked, and it turns out I have perniscuos anemia. My rheumy tells me that it is related to the fibro. (it is also an autoimmune disorder). On another note, I was in a car accident last night. This college kid ran a stop sign and t-boned me at about 30 miles per hour. I had just pulled out from my stop sign at a 4 way stop. I saw headlights coming at me at a rapid speed from my right. All I remember is feeling like a deer in front of car headlights. I froze and braced for the impact in a split second. She was going to hit me no matter what. My Isuzu Trooper is totalled- she was driving a little Saturn sedan. The police came, and she immediately said that she was at fault. They left and I was waiting for my brother to come and see if the car needed towed home. She knocked on my window and said Happy new year as soon as the police left. I had to go back to the ER today, because I was feeling a lot worse. Amy Wait, I hate to jump in here... but brusining is part of this??? Omg! Yet ANOTHER oddity about my life, explained by fibro... Guest guest
I have always bruised easily too but never knew why. Something can barely touch me and I'll end up with a bruise from it. This explains a lot. I've always got bruises somewhere. My fiance has asked me about it a few times. "What did you do to yourself?" or "Where did this come from?" etc. I've never known how to answer except to say I bruise easily. I look like I've been abused half the time but I haven't been. I bruise really easily down around the thigh area which doesn't help during specific activities if you know what I mean. Anita
Guest guest
Yeah, I know what you mean! lol I have always bruised easily, also. The docs used to quiz my mother, thinking that she abused me. But, I was just a tomboy on a farm. Never did grow out of the bruising, tho. Right now I have some big ones on my arms and have no idea where they came from. -Lori Re: Re: bruising I have always bruised easily too but never knew why.
