Deborah Pettitt is beginning a clinical study of

implanted women to try to understand why women with

breast implants get sick. (As far as I know this is

the first study to look at sick women with implants to

see why they are sick!)

I'm not sure how the study is designed. So, I suggest

that any one interested contact Deborah for details.

As I understand it, the study will require that blood

be drawn before and after explant. This may be able to

be done by the women's doctors and, possibly, through

their insurance.

For more information, contact

dpettitt@...

Please circulate this information to any groups or

individuals who may be interested. Thank you - Rogene
