We are receiving dozens of requests for plastic surgeons who are experienced at removing implants en bloc. We especially need names of plastic surgeons who are adept at removing leaking silicone implants, sensitive to the need to remove as much silicone as possible, and also skilled so that the woman is not deformed by the operation. Unfortunately we only have about 10-15 names of surgeons from across the country. None have been recommended in the Washington, DC area, Philadelphia area, New England, Washington state, Oregon, most of the Northwest or Southwest, or most southern states. If any of you can recommend plastic surgeons for explant, based on personal experience or the experience of someone you know well, please let us know so we can share those names with women who desperately need them.

Of course, recommendations for rheumatologists and other physicians who are respectful and effective at treating women with implant problems are also needed.

I HAVE BEEN RECOVERING FROM THIS NIGHT MARE SENSE 1994

WAITING FOR THIS GLOBAL SETTLEMENT TO HELP FINANCE MY RECOVERY

THIS WAS EVEN MORE EVIDENT WHEN I WAS TOLD BY THE NURSE FOR THE SETTLEMENT THAT I WOULD NOW NEED TO GET NEW TESTING ON MY CONDITION WHICH THEY HAVE HAD SENSE 95 HOWEVER I NOW NEED NEW TESTS BY A CERTIFIED RHEUMATOLOGEST HA THEY WANT $400. JUST TO SEE ME ARE THEY OUT OF THERE MINDS

THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE HAS TAUGHT MY PLENTY I NEVER WOULD HAVE KNOW IF JUST IF I HAD SAID NO TO MY EX-HUSBAND WHEN HE DID TRADED WORK WITH THE DR. AND I GOT IMPLANTS AS PART OF THE TRADE BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU TRADE FOR IT CAN KILL YOU.

Does anyone know about cheek implants? or how I can find out about the long term effects? the PS's state that they're safe because they're not a gel like the breast implants but hard & stay put in the cheek area. would appreciate any feedback anyone has. thanks . Judy
