I had a gut feeling that implants weren’t as inert as my plastic surgeon led me to believe. I cancelled my surgery a day after joining this list. Rogene asked me to stay and help others with health issues, so I have. I have genetic liver problems, that’s why I was sick in the past. Sorry to hear about your liver problems. That must be terrible. I just hope you aren't basing all of your information on what your doctor told you about your particular condition. I did read one of your posts that said that you experienced brain fog when your liver becomes toxic. I know that the thyroid can also cause brain fog if it isn't working properly. Guest guest Posted July 9, 2005 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 Hi Beth, Thanks for your care. Dr. Leu, my ND, has done extensive testing so we know what is wrong with me. My MD didn’t give a flip that my liver tests were abnormal because they weren’t abnormal enough. Dr. Leu has actually done lab work when I have been foggy and have found that each time, my liver enzymes have been elevated. When I don’t have the fog, my enzymes are normal. My thyroid is at the low end of normal and is being treated with Westhroid. Since treatment a few years ago, my thyroid has been very stable. Kenda Thanks for clearing that up.
