Guest guest
Hi Kim; Here ; Our Gov. Has what is called " American's With Disability Act " . When I had my resturant I knew the Law very well. If you are still employed and you have a disability the Company has to make " Accommodation's for you " . You can not get fired for wearing the mask AT ALL ! The employer must Accommodate your Disability. If you get fired for wearing the mask you can go to EEOC and file a formal complaint and the Gov. will sue the company for you, and you get all back pay and your job back. Now that is Goverment Law not State Law. There are other examples of Accommodation that also apply. For example , you might have to go to the take a 10 min. break to give yourself a shot for you illness at 3:00 but that is not your break time,  it is the time you must take a break for your illness. . The employer must allow you to do so. If you have a back problem and you can't lift anything over 25 pounds they must have someone else do it. Now you must have this doucmented . Medical records and or docters note. Hope this will give you a new light on things . Look up ADA . GARY
