If anyone is interested, I have found about 10 videos about Still's on You Tube.

I think they are of good enough quality to help those who are trying to explain

the disease to family/friends. Some even include RD's and patients in an

interview format. One of the better ones was made by Jill Zarin (Real Housewives

of NYC) when her son was diagnosed with Still's.

If you need one to drive the point home quickly, do a You Tube search for

" Little Man Sam " . He is six and was diagnosed with Still's at age 3 (I think).

He has already suffered bouts of pericarditis.

If a board member would like the links, I copied and pasted them into a word

file.

Hi ,

Thank you for the information on the Still's videos. I would very much like the

links if you would send them to me at windsinging@... I would also be

happy to add them to the site files if I get approval.

I also understand what you feel about it being 30 some years and there not being

much to be done. I had the same realization a few weeks ago at my pain doctors.

I cried because of all the joint damage throughout and I wouldn't have

everything replaced even though I am an advocate for joint replacements and have

had three so far and probably will have more just not certain ones if I can

manage through the pain and mobility without in my lifetime.

I'm still here buddy. Write any time because I totally understand and no

sometimes our bodies just will not allow us to do that type of work and we can

slip it by only for a short period like once in a while for myself.

Till soon I hope,
