Those symptoms sound more like herx symptoms to me. Primal defense

can indeed cause herxes as it kills off pathogens. In fact, it

recommends starting off slowly and working up slowly to the maximum

dose. I think it is safe to use while pregnant--there is nothing in

it that would be harmful.
