Guest guest
, I didn't read who this was from, until the very end. I thought wrote it. Mercy! You smart people. The subgroup that they may be helpful for is the group of AD patients with overlaid DLB, and vice versa, but you've gotta have impairment caused by beta-amyloid to get either of those to work. Sorry to be a buzzkill.<snip> Yeah... from what I read about Alzhemed & Flurizan, I understood it as that too... Just new meds that would benefit those with AD... but what I did find interesting in that post is their comment: " During the next five years, we forecast that currently-available therapies will expand their labels to include other forms of dementia, ... " Which is what Exelon did... expanded their label to include PDD... which in a way is good news for LBD b/c more research re: LBD vs. just Alz. may be taking place... <snip>The good news is that there are similar efforts to find ways to keep alpah-synuclein from aggregating to form Lewy bodies, and to destroy the bodies that have already formed.<snip> Yes... read something regards to this thought too: http://ucsdnews.ucsd.edu/newsrel/health/06_15_Masliah.asp <BR><BR><BR>**************************************<BR> AOL now offers free email to everyone.
