They look good, but I am also concerned about burglars kicking the door

open. I have burglar bars

from Lowe's. The sunburst or they call it the sunset. Whatever (shrug).

With a better lock, I will not worry about my Don, or the burglars. If there

is a fire we can get out a window quickly, And firemen can get in quickly.

Burglars don't like windows anymore as they are not as fast as doors, and

awaken homeowners in a small house, as ours. Windows draw too much attention.

At

the door, the homeowner may be having company as far as the neighbors know.

Not so with a window.

I like the lock, but now that I have the door, I don't need the lock. Way

back when I could figure out what to do I would have jumped at it.

That is good for an apartment. Can anyone enter from the other side of the

lock? Is it for keeping a loved one in only?

Love a bunch,

Imogene

That is a good extra lock. And it is for the inside and your LO can't open

it. It is a simple procedure, but it was to difficult for Mom. And you can

get them at Home Depot. One of the other things I like about them was they

didn't need a key. Others can open them easily. They cost about $20. and I

would pay that again in a second.

Imogene,

It is a one way lock for the inside. It would make it harder to kick the door

in. But mostly it keeps those inside, inside.

Caregave for Mom (after I brought her from WI to MI) for 3 years and 4th year in

a nh.

She was almost 89 when she died in '02. No dx other than mine.
