Guest guest
Kim, I'd suggest that, since you've already started Olive Leaf Oil, that you continue with that for a while before starting Fungal Defense. After you find out how you feel on that, and finish the cleanse, then start Fungal Defense. Fungal Defense puts organisms in your body to KILL off the negative organisms. Primal Defense puts organisms in your body to CONTROL negative organism. It takes time for the beneficial organism to colonize to the point they can do their job. So, you will need to take Primal Defense for at least several months. The different detox programs target different organisms, so rotating among different ones can be more beneficial that sticking to just one. With Olive leaf or Fungal Defense, you may feel a herx effect . . . Usually just makes you aware that you have a stomach/gut and that something is going on there. This is good as long as it doesn't become too severe. If you become too uncomfortable, back off a little. Just be sure to drink a lot of pure water . .. at least 1/2 ounce for every pound of body weight. If at all possible, forget about ingesting ANYTHING that is chemically processed! The more natural your foods, the faster you will make progress. After you get well underway, you can add a little honey for sweetener (raw if possible). Sugar feeds fungus/yeast/Candida . . . This is one way to determine that you have a problem! Giving up sugar can be really, really tough because the fungal organisms are screaming " Feed me, Feed me. " After a few weeks of being sugar free, you'll find sweet things aren't appealing anymore. Something else to consider is a fast. Patty is the person to talk to about fasting. By cutting off the food supply,, the fungal organisms die off. Eating natural, organic foods puts the beneficial organisms back! Patty is a testament to living well with alternative health. She is the picture of health - not a sign of age. She absolutely glows! She hasn't told the group about all the things she does to maintain her health lately. If she has time maybe she'll share her program with us. Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Rogene, Thank you for the kind compliments. I would love to share my way of living with everyone---it's all what we talk about here! I'll try to put it into a list form easy on the eye, but truly, it is a simple way of life that focuses on eating God's way, avoiding toxins, and prompting my body to give up toxins and cleanse itself. I'd have to say it is like the Maker's Diet for the most part. I don't use fake or highly processed fats, (only organic coconut oil, organic butter, or olive oil) no fake sugars (only honey or sucanat or stevia), no substitutes of any kind (always the real thing!), no microwave cooking at all, don't use drugs of any kind, use minimal supplements these days (Garden of Life products), and eat as little processed food as possible. We eat wild game meats for protein, eat organic fruits and vegetables as much as possible, have cut out starches almost completely (gave up potatoes, which I LOVE, and eat very little bread, very little rice), and drink primarily water and tea. We also use raw milk exclusively for our dairy needs (I make my own yogurt with a Salton yogurt maker--very easy) and eat only raw milk cheeses. I grind my own flour using a stone grinding mill, but baking goodies is a rare treat in our house. The grinder I use makes it a snap to use. So, breakfast focuses on fruits or smoothies with raw milk yogurt, or eggs and cheese. I add flax for fiber in the smoothies, or have oatmeal that I add bran to for the extra fiber. Lunches are various salads, dinners are salads too, or casseroles with meats and vegetables. I've got a freezer full of venison, so I don't buy grocery store beef. WE also love salmon and halibut, (deep ocean fish). I read all labels of products before I buy them and do NOT buy things with partially hydrogenated oils, or high fructose corn syrup. I think these two things have done more to destroy the health of America than most all the other foods combined. It's very slim pickings at the grocery store when you cut out products with these two ingredients, but trust me....I've got 4 kids, so I know how difficult it can be. It can be done! My kids have adapted to our more strict diet very well, and in fact, are somewhat of a spectacle to their friends who still eat french fries and drink soda pop. My kids don't! Wild Oats and other health food stores carry products that don't have these ingredients. You just need to find them, and then remember those staples for your pantry. I do cleansing routines that use the coffee enemas, and we have a jacuzzi and infrared sauna that we use occasionally. I don't have any big routine that I follow anymore, because this has all become just a simple way of life. We fast (water only) on occasion. Otherwise, eating well, making choices not to consume certain substances, and periodic cleansing are what we do to stay healthy. Sleep is vital....we are in bed by 9-10 pm most nights. We don't drink alcohol...only a rare, rare glass of wine. Yet, through all of these lifestyle changes, we have continued to enjoy life to the full. These choices are not burdensome anymore. My meat and potatoes man has become a devoted salad eater, and actually prefers salad to meat now. There's only one thing we need to do more of, and that is exercise....we're really bad at sticking to any sort of exercise routine. That's the only thing I would change, but we are an active family, always on the go. When I was in India, the leader was surprised at my energy! I'd have to say that is a testament to the fact that we can get better and better. When I got sick from my implants, I felt like I wanted to die. I felt totally poisoned and near death. Now I love to live life and live it to the full. Of course, I have to say this Rogene...that it is my faith in my Lord Jesus Christ that sustains me, and without His presence in my life, I would be nothing. He has healed me and brought a newness of life to my bones that is ALL about Him. I had to surrender everything to Him. He took away all the gunk in my life and replaced it with His treasures, which are priceless. When we get our focus off of the worthless things in this life, and onto the priceless treasures awaiting us in a relationship with Christ, He makes all things new!
