Guest guest
Hi Beth, Never think that you are butting in when giving good information. Thanks, I appreciate the information. I did know that klonopin is an anti-anxiety and if you knew me you would probably say that 'its not working!' Although I didn't know about the side affects of adding the supplements you mentioned. Also, I had the muscle twitches really bad. They only happened when going to bed. Mostly in my hands, alittle in my legs. They didn't stop after taking klonopin. My dosage was increased and then the twitching stopped. Thanks!bethlakey <bethlakey@...> wrote: Hey Beth, not trying to butt in but just a word of caution about adding sleep aid supplements to Klonopin. Klonopin is an antianxiety as well as anti-seizure medication. It's also used to help with muscle twitches. If you are considering adding anything which will act as sleep aids, please check with your pharmacist or doctor about possible side effects. For example, 5htp or St. 's Wort should not be taken with SSRIs without medical supervision, etc, because it can cause serotonin syndrome. I'll send prayers for good sleep to you.hugs,Beth L.Opinions expressed are NOT meant to take the place of advice given by licensed health care professionals.
