I might be wrong but isn't that a different form of silica? One that is inhaled. I know it is very confusing but if I'm not mistaken silicosis is caused by inhaling silica particles. I believe there are different forms of silica. This is a very confusing topic. Beth S. Dr. Blais was no available today, but he will explain if there is a difference. I know very little about the silica issue, only that it is used in breast implants. So nice to see you back with us. I don't think it matters if the silica gets into your lungs in the form of dust from the mines, or gel from an implant, the effect of the tiny particals in the lungs is what causes the disease. I'm trying to reach Dr. Blais because he will explain how and why it causes severe respiratory problems in some women. I know some women here who have developed Wegener's Granulomatosis from their implants and one lady lost one of her lungs. The doctors have given her 6 months to live. I feel bad about everything the manufactures and their attorneys have put him through. We are very lucky to have people like him fighting for us. I think it causes respiratory problems because of our body's forgien body reaction to the tiny particals. The tiny particals cause inflamation of the muscels around the lungs and scar tissues that form around the tiny particles. Its kinda like getting a scab around a swore on your leg. Your body builds a scar tissue to wall of the tiny prticles. That's what the lumps are that form around the residual gel. One differance is the scar tissue inside your body is wet. Where a scab on your leg has access to open air and becomes dry, shrivels up and falls off. You can find that protocol on www.plastikos.com, and it is based on healthy eating and taking supplements as well as detoxing. Inositol is actually a B vitamin, so nothing to be worried about. B vitamins are actually known as stress supplements, and as far as I know, you cannot overdose on them. I have taken inositol in pill and powder form in the past with no noticeable side effects, but hopefully, some benefits! Whether or not it helps to remove silicone or silica from the body, I am not sure we know positively, but that is what has been claimed. I sincerely doubt it is anything to be alarmed about.
