Guest guest
Well, My sons and ARE hypersensitive to silicon dioxide. Taking that medication for us would be like putting small amounts of pure poison in our bodies, one spoonful at a time. If we were to take any medication into our blood stream that contained a silicon base we would instantly have arthritis again, fibromyalgia again, swollen joints, rashes, fatigue and who knows what other systems would appear as a result of the allergy. If Someone is hypersensitive to stawberries and they continue to eat just one or two starwberries a day they will probablly continue to feel piosined. A hypersensitivie is an allergy! If your medications are NOT helping you there might be a reason. Silica, silicate silicone silicon dioxide there all different components of the same chemical. If I were in your shoes I would get my blood tested ASAP. then you will know for sure. Guest guest
Lana, What blood tests would one ask for to detect silica levels/toxcity/sensitivity? I'm wondering if this isn't the problem that Sue Gibbens and her sons are dealing with . . . When she gets back from vacation, let's be sure to get her attention! It would be wonderful if she could find an answer to their problems. Thanks, Rogene
Guest guest
Doctors Shanklin and Smalley are doing the blood test out of Mephis Tenessee. I saw some information on thier studies in one of your March postings. The tests are called silicon hypersensitivie tests. They place your blood in a vile then drop in silicone if your blood reacts to the silicone then that means that your hypersensitive to it. The doctors can explain it a lot better than I can. They've been doing these tests for several years now. of course the manufactures say the tests are bogass. but those tests saved our LIVES! Lana Dr. Shanklin was featured on the Sally Show with me and my two boys. Guest guest
Ok, Then what is silicone made out of? I'm not sure whats what I just know what our doctors told me. NO silica, no silicone nor silicate and or silicon dioxide. If my memory is correct silicone is made from silica, the earth. I will check again, it's been a long time now since I've checked this stuff out. Now that are immune systems have clamb down we can eat products with the silica but we CAN NOT take them in a pill form which will enter the blood stream.s It may not be the same for aomeone else and if those medications are working for you then thats good I just know we can't take them. Guest guest
silica n : a white or colorless vitreous insoluble solid (SiO2); various forms occur widely in the earth's crust as quartz or cristobalite or tridymite or lechartelierite [syn: silicon oxide, silicon dioxide] This is what it says in the dictionary. So as far as i can see silica silicon and silicone are related unless I'm reading tis wrong. Guest guest
One other thing i thought I should mention. I was told in the begging to keep my kids away from areas with free flowing dirt and sand boxes. When my sons school had an earth mover putting in a new play groud he got so sick they excused him for the entire week. it was the dirt flowing through the air, silica, that was making him sick. Guest guest
I'm just not getting it I guess. I will do some more research today about this and get back with you. I was led to beleive that silicon dioxide and silica, even though they're different, originated from the same place. Like I said if the meds are working for you and your well, right on. I know that I myself won't take anything with that stuff in it and I wouldn't dare put it in my kids bodies. Because there was no research avalible to work from we had to figure out where the silicon was. Once we located silicon in a product, like meds, we stopped taking it. The entire thing has been an experiement. Whether it is right or wrong I don't know All I know is our health has improved a great deal. Sadly the doctors have no research to go by either. As a matter of fact there are very few, if any doctors that i have met that even realized that there was silicone in medications. Guest guest
As it states in the documents, silicon, silica it is all an important ingredient that we need to stay healthy and we get a lot of it every day through the foods we eat. In the case of my sons and I the silicone moved out of my implant and small minute particals mirgrated into my body and into my childrens bodies. Because our bodies have the natural ability to fight infections, bacteria and forigein invaders my body develped and extra lypmsite that most people would not have. because my immune system has seen the silicone as a forigen invader it has created a lympsite especially designed to attack, encase and wall off all of the silicone particals. Once the particals are completely incased the little immune system soildiers can go back to sleep. If I were to drop a teaspoon of the silicon into my blood the soilder thats on gaurd duty is going to see the silicon in the medication and call out the sleeping soilders to encase and or destroy it. Er...go my immune system is awake and working over time again. That is what is happening to us now. An autoimmune reaction. because there is so little to NO research thats been done I had to start from scratch, read a lot and then use my comon sense. My dotors had NEVER heard of any of this stuff before. They had a very hard time accepting that we were having a problem related to the silicone and then they had a hard time admitting that we were having a problem because of the silicone. We began from square one and have worked our way out from there. As I told one of the other gals in the begining we could NOT eat ANY friuts or vegtables, that couldn't be peeled. I still can't. No soy, and no silicon of ANY kind in our medications! Now the boys can eat non peeled fruits and vegtables now just not to much at a time or beleive me they will and do get sick to thier stomach, in a hurry. Anyway i don't know what works for who or whats in what or whats made of what. i just know that untill i find out otherwise, I would rather not take the chance of putting any form of silica, silicon or silicone into our bodies through medications. Medication goes into the mouth and right into the blood stream. My oldest son took a teaspoon of Ceclor for an ear infection and ended up in the hospital with a class five posioning. I later found out that Ceclor had silicone in it. Thats how we found out that medications had siliicon dioxide in them. Trial an earer. I have no kind of medical training at all. I don't know what will work and what won't thats why I suggested that people see thier doctors and get tested. That way they will know where to start. Guest guest
Dearest Lana: Do you have any respiratory problems? I know that I nearly died because of severe respiratory problems. I have had three pulmonary embolisms from the silicone. Tammy Wynette died from " A Silicone Fluid Induced Pulmonary Embolism " . I have never smoked in my life and yet I have asthma/chronic bronchitis among many other severe problems. In my opinion it is all the chemicals that they put into breast implants that are killing us. Have you seen the list? It is criminal what they have allowed these so called plastic surgeons to implant into women's bodies. I want all silicone/saline implants banned...love....Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Re: silica? >>Date: Mon, 27 Jun 2005 14:44:54 -0000 >> >>Hi Lana, >>Here is some info regarding silica/silicon. >> >>From the book: >>Prescription for Nutritional Healing Third Edition >>by Phyllis A. Guest guest
My lungs, chest cavity, and heart are all coated in silicone gel. The graulomas i mention in my e-bay ad are in many other areas of my body as well. I have a lot of respritory problems that are combatted with a nerve disease. The only thing I do for it is ride bikes and try to keep stretching the scars that are forming around the silicon on my lungs. Thats all i can do. lana >From: " Lea " <devans@...> >Reply- >< > >Subject: Re: Re: silica? >Date: Mon, 27 Jun 2005 09:57:45 -0600 > >Dearest Lana: > >Do you have any respiratory problems?
