Except for a little pain from where the incision and drains were I feel great! Dr. Melmed said my implants were so high he had to leave about 20 percent of the capsule,as he did not want to get into to the chest cavity. I had very minimal bleeding(he said 10 drops! haha). I really am going to take it easy this week. He did put some internal sutures in for a lift. Are they small? Yea, but I am going to be realistic and give them time to fluff out like everyone says. He says they will look good in about 3 months. He is a fantastic and skilled surgeon with a wonderful soul. He is truly one in a million, and recommend him to anyone. He takes care of you. After I met him yesterday in his officeto get the bandages ect.. off, he took my mom and I to the doctors lounge for a beverage and waited with us until our taxi arrived. I've been around doctors for 19 years and there's not many that would do that on a Saturday afternoon! We will probably be back as I think my mom is going to get them removed! I know God sent her with me for a reason! Anyway we leave in about an hour for home. I'll be here if anyone wants to ask me anything. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you wonderful, loving ladies. I do owe you my life! Lots of love to all! KimOpinions expressed are NOT meant to take the place of advice given by licensed health care professionals. Guest guest
Kim congratulations on your explant. It sure feels good tohave it over with and now you are ready to start the next chapter in your life. Rest up a few days like you mentioned, and then you will be able to slowly start detoxing. I am so happy for you and even happier that your mom is considering an explant too! That is a reason to celebrate! Take care and keep in touch about how you are progressing.
