Hi,

I've often thought that it was a good idea to see what people look like before and after. I have pictures of before I got sick and after. The pictures do not really show my breasts but how the illness changed my appearance. It would really speak volumes. I look like a completely different person. In fact, after becoming ill, I ran into people that didn't even recognize me.

The illness affects your entire body in such a way that you become unrecognizable. Not everybody experiences this but I surely did.

When I got my implants removed the only thing on my mind was getting back to the way I looked before getting sick.

I think that only the moderators have their pictures in the archives but this is a very good idea.mikat828 <mikat828@...> wrote:

KimI bet you will look great with your implants out! By the way, it would be great if all of you newer members could send in pics of before and after explant at some point. I think it is really encouraging to other newcomers. Funny, I haven't seen one lady's pics that was explanted that I didn't think she looked better without implants. How do we get ourselves thinking that implants are the answer to our self image? Sticking synthetic bags in our breasts to make them appear larger is really pretty pathetic when you think about it.
