Guest guest
Maybe Wiley wasn’t so far off with her ideas. nne I think what screwed things up was the huge doses......the E had to escalate because the P cream was building up in our tissues......the only way to compensate for this was more and more E......The first few months of WP I only would have needed to do 3 mgs. E BID to feel EXCELLENT...........the P phase messed that up more and more, so if the P had never gone above 100mgs. BID and NOT been in that CREAM, I would most likely still be sailing on it. I got intolerant of P and now need min. 4-6mgs.E BID . I am glad to have discovered all the GOOD stuff E fixes.......the TV commercials are full of drugs for problems that just more E would totally FIX:))) ...........like the "I gotta go, gotta go right now" one drives me nutty, give that woman some estrogen already:)) even my allergies are gone with enough E )
Guest guest
What kind of P would you use? I have sublingual, and it always suited me I use Mirena IUD which delivers 20 micrograms a day into the uterine lining. I dont tolerate any P well except the testosterone derived P which is in Mirena. Sammie
Guest guest
When you did the 3mg E BID it was Ok? And now you have to dose all day long? Glad I was never on Wiley. Maybe I can go about this differently. Thanks for sharing this. …nne think the sublingual P is the safest, but don't know about urterine protection???I don't have one, LOL. In Vliets T book, says if you don't have functioning ovaries you can't convert P, DHEA down the pathways, so not sure what I'd do if I had a uterus. I take Test. now to bal. my E. doing 0.2mgs in OO. As for, if I had only just done the 3BID as in the early WP days.....still had to use it during the day, hummingbird thing I think, LOL. BUT....seemed I needed alot less. 4mgs. at a time made me hyper. like what you feel. It took months of P buildup to where the extra E felt ok, then it was needed. So, with what you know, and where some of us have been, LOL, you can hit a nice middle road. You know your body, just listen like you do and your own protocol will fall into place:)))....we know from Vliets working with hundreds maybe thousands of women, some dos and don't.......blood ranges for bone, vaginal, skin, eye, & overall good health:)) for some interesting pgs. in the Vliets,Test. book SWGT,ck out 97, 99, 100, 103, 139, 147, 156, 189-91 the whole book is unbelievable GOOD )) but those pgs. give: optimal blood levels, stuff about breast cancer prevention with use of T, and other good stuff I wanted to remember.)) Guest guest
That sounds good, except I hated the IUD I had in my 20’s. I was hypo then, and had the worst heavy cramping periods with it in Marrianne: I had the same experience with the original IUD, however this is much different and it is a medication delivery system; P right into the uterine lining and stops periods in a lot of women after 6-9 months of use. It also acts as a birth control device. Since I have had it in, 5 months, my uterus has shrunk in size, my uterine lining went down an inch, it is now 3.2. I have fibroids so I am glad to have the reduction in uterine size. Sammie

Well I have taken 200mg P caps, which delivered 20 mg of P and sleepiness from the metabolites. I have used 200mg of cream which should deliver 200mg of P, and it doesn’t do much at all. I think for P, the cream is only 10% absorbed rather than the 100% they think. But then the build up thing happened too. When you did the 3mg E BID it was Ok? And now you have to dose all day long? Guest guest
Ok, where do I sign up? I am getting hormones from holistic doc, not my GYN. Could I just ask for it for birth control? I wasn’t even not even going to tell her I am using E, they do prem-pro in her office. Maybe I could use the BC if I ever get my libido back. Thanks a LOT. nne I had the same experience with the original IUD, however this is much different and it is a medication delivery system; P right into the uterine lining and stops periods in a lot of women after 6-9 months of use. Guest guest
Ok, I think the hummingbird style ( I love that term) could be the pills Carolyn is trying,(if they work)and the IUD! And in the meantime the cream I have, and a bit of P. It doesn’t disagree with me unless I get too much. I had twice as much as I need with the 200mg P cap. I have 50’s though, so I could do 1- 50 at night all month, or 2-50”s for 2 weeks a month. I will get that T book out again. I know it is one of my very favorites. She made it all seem simple for a change. Thanks a bunch…nne As for, if I had only just done the 3BID as in the early WP days.....still had to use it during the day, hummingbird thing I think, LOL. Guest guest
Ok, where do I sign up? nne: If you are interested put Mirena IUD into a search engine and you will bring up info on it. Must be installed by a physician. Sammie
