Lea,

I have a chin implant. Please send that article on if you find it.

I was told by my doctor that bone would form around it. I was young and didn't think to ask many questions so I didn't.

I was later told that it is impossible to have bone grow around the chin implant so I'm not sure what is true at this point.

If I have this implant removed, I'll be deformed. It has been in for years. I've never been sick from it. Perfect health until the breast implants.Lea <devans@...> wrote:

Lea,

No the article didn't come through. Really sad story. The husband really is a rat! How did she know that the chin implant was causing a problem???Lea <devans@...> wrote:

I have a lady here who had chin, and breast implants. Her chin implants were removed when she had her breast implants removed. She has lost everything. Her husband has taken away her children because she was so sick. The rat should have stood by her, but he left.

I have sent an article on this, I hope that it came through okay.

love you....Lea

I have a chin implant. I've had it since 1991. Not cheek implants but a chin implant. I've never had a problem with it. I think that the implants that they use in the cheeks are much different. The cheek implant (I might be wrong are a softer substance) probably silicone. My chin implant is hard like bone.

I haven't heard about too many problems with chin implants. That doesn't mean that there aren't problems, I just haven't heard about them. draylene@... wrote:

Honey, this lady's chin implants became hard and it takes time for these devices to break down. She did her own research on these devices. Her plastic surgeon did some reconstructive surgery and it worked out fine.

Love you....Lea

Many women have contacted our network who have had degradation of chin

implants, and have all the same symptoms as we do from breast implants,

same with cheek implants.
