Antibiotics treatment and auditory hyperacusis

I have a child that is experiecing major sensitivity to sound and smell since he

started an abx for lyme. He cries because the softest and lowest voice is too

loud at times. He complains of the cafetaria at the school hurting his ears and

everyone in the school talking so loud. I read somewhere under "

Neuropsychiatric Manifestations of Lyme " that this can be part of a herx

reaction...anyone else know anything about this? I am not knowledgable yet on

how to post and read stuff with this group yet. This is the first message I am

trying to send. If possible if anyone has info on this please send me a message

start of the abx...any ideas?
