Guest guest
Here goes... See, I don't completely trust what I find on the internet because sometimes the information is slanted for reasons that are not known to the lay reader... therefore over the past few years I have collected quite a collection of books on herbal remedies, detoxing, thyroid disorders, etc. I am going to give you a couple of excerpts from known authors about GSE as this is where I get my information. I got this book at the Wild Oats Market (organic food place) by Dr. Feng's office The Detox Solution by Dr. Fitzgerald pg.302 Additional Herbal Formulas [for fighting candida] Some natural substances with antifungal and anti parasitic properties include: Wormwood:...................... Black Walnut:............... Quassia:............... Clove:.................... Grapefruit Seed Extract: This substance has been extensively researched for its extremely potent broad spectrum antibacterial, antifungal, anti parasitic, and antiviral compounds. Caprylic Acid, Undelcylenic Acid, Pau D' Arco If you suspect a yeast and/parasite involvement, using a formula with herbs similar to those above might help you feel better. Follow the directions on the package. If you suspect a significant problem, please do not try to treat yourself. See a qualified health professional who is familiar with the yeast and parasite testing and treatment protocol. The Woman's book of Healing Herbs, secrets from 90 top Herbal Healers by Sari Harrar and Sara Altshul O'Donnell pg. 189 From conversation with Wingo, R. N. "Natural grapefruit seed extract works wonders for bacterial infections of the mouth such as canker sores, say Wingo. Daby some right on the sore a few times a day or add five drops to a glass of water and swish the sloution around in your mouth three times a day, she suggests. " It's very bitter," Wingo says, "but it really works." Grapefruit seed extract is available in health food stores." Complete Candida Yeast Guide Book Revised 2nd Edition by Jeanne Marie with Zoltan P. Rona, M.D. pg.77 Parasites One reason for the failure of antifungal therapies is the presence of an undiagnosed infection with parasites............... "Every patient with disorderso of immune function, including multiple allergies, patients with unexplained fatigue, or with chronic bowel symptoms, should be evaluated for the presence of intestinal parasites."........................ Natural herbal remedies are available to treat the growing epidemic of these parasites in the North American population. Remedies include artemisia annua, berberine, GRAPEFRUIT SEED EXTRACT, cloves, black walnut, pumpkin seeds, chinchona, and garlic. So those are just a few. The others I have.. one by Murray, ND goes into the heart protective effects of the flavonoids (procyanidins) found in grape seed, grape fruit seed and pine bark. Dr. Atkins Vita Nutrient Solution also goes into the same thing about the anti oxidant/ heart protection issue. So, that's about it. There was some information that she was doing Intravenous Therapy but I don't know what was in the IV.... Probably l-glutathione for one since that is used very often to get the liver back in shape. My doc uses glutathione in my IV's.. I don't have hepatitis... just at the time alot of toxins. Yep, Grape seed extract is also excellent at killing thrush, which is yeast in your mouth (you knew that!) and it can be used vaginally.. but not straight up or there could be some serious burning goin' on. For thrush it can be taken straight and swished around in the mouth. Are you still bloated? I suffered miserably from severe bloating while I had the implants in. It has finally completely dissipated. The bloating I had was exacerbated by food allergies... so I had food allergy testing done and avoided those foods... although I found I am allergic to things... like coffee that didn't show on the test so now I just avoid it. I have read alot about bloating and edema since I had it so bad and some say that this can be caused by your body being overwhelmed by toxins, particularily your liver being overwhelmed with toxins. Guest guest
Hi Kenda, Right, I haven't heard of it being used long term and too much of anything is never a good thing! I have heard of GSE being used in an antifungal rotation regimen where you go for example three days on caprylic acid, then switch to three days colloidal silver, three days wild oregano then GSE, etc. Some people have yeast that are become highly resistant to antifungals quickly.... also some people actually become sensitive to the antifungal so that is why this rotation is done. I'm sure you've already heard of this. Dawn Kenda Skaggs & lt;kdskaggs@... & gt; wrote: Hi Dawn.I completely agree and I do know the source, very well.
