Dearest Rogene:

Thank you for this article. I printed it off, and now I have a book on

Silica. gets annoyed when I print off large articles, because I use up

all of his paper. I was interested in this article because I have mild

kidney disease with a cystic lesion on one of my kidneys.

I have question for the group. Is it safe to take Silica tablets? My

daughter's Mother-in-law takes them, and she coughs and has lots of phlegm

in her throat. She has never smoked. Her son owns many health food

stores here. They do not believe in traditional medicine at all.

Love to all...Lea

I have another question. Someone told me that if I were to lose weight I

would get rid of the silicone in my body...is this true. I'm not getting

enough calories as it is, and when I try to starve myself, I get sick.

That sounds right Lea inasmuch as toxins store in our fat tissue. Please don't ever starve yourself. It's unhealthy and it will probably cause you to gain weight in the end. If I were you I would try to eat nutrient dense foods like nuts and whey protein if you can tolerate them and also good fats like coconut oil, olive oil and flax. Thank you Sweet Anita:

I love nuts and coconut, but not the oil. hates coconut and he does the shopping. I know you are talking about the oils, I have not seen at the health food store yet, but he told me he wanted to start me on some oils as welll as the NAC. This weekend, we will try to fit him in. I would love to lose the last 20 lbs. of Prednisone fat, we need to walk more.

Love you...Lea

Lea, That sounds like a great plan to me. Did you talk to Dr. Blais about taking the NAC. I'm taking it. 600 mg per day. I have not noticed any side effects at all Love, Anita Re: Interesting webpage on exposure to Silica I have another question. Hi Lea,

Fasting does release toxins that are built up in the system and quite

possibly actually more than probably would release the silicone if it

were stored within your fat cells. Fasting is one of the most

effective methods of detox and it is ancient.

BUT and a BIG BUT.. Fasting.. especially on water causes toxins to be

released very quickly into the blood stream and can overwhelm the

liver. Juice fasting is just as effective but you can control the

release of toxins better by drinking more juice.

I say " Fasting " because any method you use to lose weight would result

in the loss of body fat... Although there is a big difference between

dieting and fasting.

I have been fasting on and off since April and I think it is one of

the most powerful detox methods I have used. They say that a juice

fast should really be called a liver cleanse because it is so healing

for the liver.

I know it sounds like I am totally off track here, but when the person

told you to lose weight my only conclusion is that they meant you

needed to release the silicone stored within your fatty tissue.

Hopefully I didn't totally confuse you now!

Love,

Dawn

Lea,

Are the silica tablets horsetail extract? (Here I go again!)

Horsetail is an herb that is also called silica. I'll be darned if I

didn't get that one right.

Love..

Lea,

I checked because I wanted to make sure my brain wasn't failing me

again. Silica is also known as Horsetail extract. This is used to

strengthen the bones, hair and nails. Other uses also, but I used it

for my hair. There WAS another girl on our site using silica pellets

that she dissolved under her tongue ... for her hair. Then Marie

tried the silica pellets... But it is true, it's a natural

substance.. horesetail.

Love.

yea I am confused to. I wasnt thinking about the clay. , my

daughter is taking an art course this summer--she got into a special

art program for highschoolers and she comes home with clay dust on

her. I hope that isn't harmful to her. I already worry about her

because she seems to have raynauds and there is alot of lupus in her

dad's side of the family. I wonder if they are takingthe right

precautions. If I bring it up to sarah she will just pooh pooh it

because she thinks I worry about everything. She really hates it

when I try to get her to eat organic, or watch her exposure to

different toxins, etc. Do you think there is something to be

worried about with the clay? I think next week they will be working

with something else.
