Sharon and Challis, I hope they are a long ways away from you! Having dealt with wildfires numerous times, I know there's nothing fun about them. And, you're right, the smoke is terrible. Better than a few years ago, of course lol, and I'm not wearing a cloth diaper around my face this time LOL, but much better. We saw last night that the larger of AZ's fires (the Cavecreek) is 50% contained on the South side and 20% on the North. I believe that's how it went. I know the numbers are right, even if the areas aren't. lol So, hopefully it's nabbed very soon! And hopefully no others will grow so large this season. We went up north and then east of Portland to the Columbia River Gorge and spent a week up there. It was wonderful! We have had so much late rain that the falls were simply beautiful.
