Last night I watched Skin Deep, they were implanting a young mother with

saline implants. There was blood everywhere, no wonder we have so much

contamination in our bodies. She was unhappy with her small breasts, she no

longer wanted her husband to see her this way. Her husband will have to care

for her and their children when she becomes sick. Shows like this should be

banned.

Help stop the madness....love you all....Lea

Dearest Jeanne:

I have never seen any article where they claim that it is best to leave the capsules in. Plastic surgeons might have published articles like this because they are too lazy to take the capsules out. They are constantly telling women that they will die if they remove the capsules. I know that there is a risk of blood loss, but they can always transfuse. One of the ladies here had a rat for a plastic surgeon and he refused to remove her capsules. She insisted and then when he did do the surgery she almost bled to death, she had blood transfusions and today she has no health problems. This idiot did not know how to explant breast implants, he left my capsules in me too. I had to have another surgery one year later to remove the capsules and I almost died. I was having a lupus flare the day of this surgery.

Honey, if you have peer reviewed articles that claim that the capsules should be left in, please share them with me. Thank you...love....Lea

Re: malpractice attorney?

Thanks for replying. I know the standard of care is shaky, but I have found so many articles in good, reputable journals about the effects of not taking the capsules out...now to find an attorney who will put some time into this!

Jeanne,

Coincidentally, today I was in Manhattan giving a deposition for a case involving a friend of mine who was deformed for life as a result of four implant revision surgeries. I don't know where you are from but this attorney may take your case. Let me know if you would like her information.

Subsequent surgery by another physician suggests otherwise. Does anyone know an attorney that might consider this?
