Guest guest
Dear Ladies, I just wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how much I appreciate all your help and extreme kindness since I joined your group. Kacey was kind enough to post my story and Anita and Rogene helped me with the sign in process, thank you thank you. I am trying to gather all the info I can so I am prepared when I see the ps for the first time, wish I had the $$ to travel and see Dr. M in Texas, he seems like a saint from all your posts that I have read. I had to quit working in 2002, the pain finally took it's toll with me and I applied for disability. While waiting for disability to kick in I totally drained my savings so I will be at the mercy of this ps who is atleast going to take my medicare. I can't believe how this illness has totally devastated the last 10 years of my life. I had a job that I loved and was making $20 an hr plus bonuses every month. After enduring the pain so long from polymyalgia rheumatica I just got plain ole nasty and was told I wasn't a team player and was let go. When I first got this disease and went to the rheumy, I asked him if my implants could cause this as I had heard some rumblings of the fact that implants could cause illness. He reassured me that they could not. Since my rupture a few weeks ago, I have read so much data from women that are in the same boat as I am. It just breaks my heart to know that we have suffered for truths that were never told to us. I just want these implants out NOW, I want to feel like my old self again. Anyway girls, thank you for letting me ramble on and vent. I am trying to get over the initial shock of all this so I can get my head back on straight. God Bless All Of You, Kathie
