Hello Sorry But Answering All,

Sorry All This is going to be a Huge e-mail. I have been very sick. On top of this dang fibro flair when I went to the Doc. I had a few problems with my sinus's so he thought he wouldn't take a chance of me getting an inffection and gave me an antibiotic and guess who got an infection a coulpe days after starting the med...........YEA ME! So needless to say I have a high fever and a VERY SORE THROAT! I always thought an antibiotic was to stop an infection not to give you one!

Also tonight will be the 4th. night in a row for Mike to be Preforming. A big week this week! So I don't get home until around 3 A.M.. Then I am feeling like hell and fall right in bed. But BIG NEWS (HAPPY) there happened to be a talent scout at one of the places and he asked Mike to be in A NIGHT AT THE OPRY! It's a re-creation of the old Grand Ole Opry. Mike will be appearing in Nov. as Hank Jr.. They are also working on a deal with several cruise ships to do the show aboard the ships for 2 weeks at a time. Everything is free your cabin, meals, drinks ALL plus you are payed about $1,000.00 dollars. That would be so cool to be able to travel all over the world plus get paid for it. So I am glad I drug my sick butt to the show after all. And to think we almost cancelled because I felt so bad. I did have a VERY BIG scare yesterday morning I think it was. Don't know if I had a mini stroke or what happened but I woke up and I could not do ANYTHING with my left hand. It just drooped at end of my arm. I couldn't even move a finger. I had to use the other hand to lift it. I could not raise it or move any part of it on it's own. It was cold as ice and felt like a dead person when you touch them. A few hours later the felling started to come back slowly. First I could move my fingers then slowly on up. However now my whole left arm is VERY sore feels bruised but no bruises that show.

Rhonda wants me to tell all that her puter is down suppose to be fixed by Fri. so we won't see her until then.

I want to THANK the Moderators so much for helping me through this time. I just have been down Litterally in bed get up go for Mike to preform and right back to the bed! Preforming 4 nights in a row about killed me as it is. We were supposed to be there today as well but I just couldn't do it. So Mike called em and said we just couldn't be there!

Also Tammi dear your slim-fast and Klondike bar do not blow my theory as it had nothing to do with diet it is to get rid of most pain sweetie. Don't get me wrong it's great for loosing weight as well however sugar & Carb. cause our pain to be much worse! At least for many of us with fibro.. Tammi, I don't know why our fibro monster isn't flaming. I've tried everything I know to try! This new med may knock you on your butt. LOL But if you expect it not to work it probably won't! You may need caffine for your headaches. I know when I go with out my caffine I get horrible headaches but that is because I am addicted to caffine! You probably are too. As for the sugar maybe it doesn't effect you but with most of us it helps to lower our pain levels. And yes you belong here! Just saw your post about going without caffine for several months and no difference sorry I know before when I gave it up it helped me a lot. But as I said I'm addicted and just haven't been able to kick it again. I know I need to but the withdrawls are hidious more than I can stand at the moment. Tammi no you not gonna get it for talking about headache diet in fact if you keep on long enough I might learn something and could try it to see if it will help mine LMAO! Please get that cell fixed LMAO. You know I'm joking with ya. Kick Nextel's @$$.

I hope you have great ones from here! other than what has already been said here I use Glucosamine/Chrondrotin it helps with the stiffness and with cartledge and joints. Hun you signed up with a yahoo name so you just log into the main site and click on files or photo's. LOL glad you got the Salonpas and they work for you. Again I say they are a Fibromite's best friend! Cute one ya Boyfriend liable to eat ya better be carefull LMAO!

(((((((((Joyce)))))))))) I'm glad this experience with the denist was much better and you didn't have much pain. But HEY what you mean chips and slasa that is not LO- CARB. LMAO. Good girl on buying the sugarless stuff. But OMG be carefull about that money. That is one of my biggest worries is that I will lay my money down somewhere and leave it, drop it, or loose my cig. case as that is where my life is kept, money, DL, Bank Cards ect........ Hun you are so right about that Dew I drink the diet which is even worse because it's caffine and aspertame. And I drink at least a 12 pack a day when I'm doing good have been down to 2 maybe 3 since I have been so sick. In fact I haven't been taking in near enough fluids and my kidneys are defenitly telling me about it they say DRINK or WE shut down! And on top of it I haven't been eating either. Just snacking here and there and I know TAMMI get your wet noodle and give me my lashing LMAO! Gosh Joyce don't you just hate it when you hit the wrong button and do that. I am an old hand at it LMAO. I now copy and paste it into my word prossecor and keep saving until I am through. LMAO I'd die if that happened to me as I've already been working on this letter for two days and am still a couple days behind!!!!!!!!!! I agree on the being careful with alcohol and meds Joyce. I had a cousin that had taken his regular meds and he decided to have 1 drink before bed and he died imm.. Also what my sister has just went through and was very lucky to live through was all because of mixing meds & alcohol. We are VERY lucky that she was on full life support and came out of it.

Thank you Tammi or Joyce who ever changed it for me. I am sure glad you got some relief from the Salonpas. I haven't seen anyone yet that they haven't helped with fibro. That's why I say they are a Fribromite's best friend! Hun I can not take asprin however the patches have no affect again because I am not ingesting it.

((((((((((Carol))))))))), sweetie I went through the same thing awhile back scared me because my hair was falling out like crazy. However after it finished doing it's thing my hair was very healthy and had a great shine. My doc. said it was kinda like when a bird molts. It gets rid of the bad hairs and replaces them with new ones! So don't freak sweetie you are NOT going bald LOL. Carol as for anti depresents I say I should be the happiest person alive I am on meds for depression also put on an anti-depresant for headache prevention, an anti-depressent for IBS. I take a total of 4. Now that is just nuts and I think I am more depressed since taking them than I was to start with LOL. As for a bio you can just send one into the group and I will take it and add it to the bio section, it really hates us LOL or I'd tell you to do it but it is really complicated.

((((((((((Ellen)))))))))), I have a waterbed so I have gotten rid of some of my stiffness. Most of the time I can't wait to crawl in it because it's like one soft huge heating pad LOL. Also what I told above it helps some with the stiffness. By all means YES take your pain meds and any other meds. while using Salonpas. They have NO REACTION what so ever to do with meds.. Meds are internal and these are external so they do not mix and cause any reactions!

Yep ((((((((((Vicki)))))))))))) I agree on the cold, I ACHE all over Too. Got heater on here. Makes me not want to get out of that warm waterbed. We shouldn't be getting this weather for another month. Gosh probably have 3 feet of snow by Halloween the way it's going. As for you girl all I can say is you are our BIG NUT here. I think I gonna have to make you an award for being the nut of fibro. LMAO But ya knows I loves ya! As for your meds Hun many churches and such will help. I know Salvation Army or St. Veincents will because they have helped me with a LOT of things. In fact when we moved here they furnished the house for us because we didn't have anything! How the heck you gonna do that paper route in the winter? Don't you walk to do it or do you drive? I just can't picture you doing it on foot in the winter especially up here. Gosh Vicki hope the shaking is gone now. Please keep us informed which you probably have and I'm just not to it yet still 3 days behind LOL. WOW girl thought I was the only one to hear things so I haven't mentioned it thought people think I was totally nuts! I hear my Mother call my name and she's in Texas all the way at the other end of the US. A lot of the times I will be asleep when I hear things, someone calling me and it wakes me up! But it has happened to me for many years. And it has lessoned a lot since I have been put on medications for it. The reason I was having the problem (You might take note here & see if this is happening to you) was that my brain was over proccessing things. It was running to fast. I would be doing one thing, watching TV or reading and listening to 2 or 3 conversations and knew what was going on in all of it. Boy I don't have that problem now LMAO. I can be looking right at you and you tell me something and I am thinking about something else and I have to ask what you said again! I love the kid post, I have seen it many times but it is always good for a laugh which we all need. But Gosh it's SO true that's what hurts lmao! LOL Vicki yep Salonpas work for sinus too LMAO.

She said it is a med they used to use for cancer but now have found many new uses for. She named several side affects but I didn't see any we don't have as fibromites anyway. So I would say you are pretty safe with it. AND BTW welcome to The Nut House. LOL Debbie you are so right about the Trazadone they gave it to me long ago for depression and I could not function at all I had like flu symptoms fever and all with them and could NOT wake up! Loved the Article Hun! Thanks for sharing it!

((((((((((((((LaDonna)))))))))))))))) I tried the lido patches too and same no help but when I found Salonpas they were a GOD SEND!!!!!!!!! Hope you can get some relief from them as well and if not hey it's cheap LMAO.

((((((((((((Bonnie))))))))))))) I haven't ever heard of the Dr. or the med you are talking about I hope you good luck with it however I have never found any of those things to help. I think some are taking meletonine. The best I have ever found for sleep is to take a cup of milk, a teaspoon or so of butter or margerine, a little sugar (Or better Splenda later after you heat) and heat it just before the boiling point. The milk releases natural Morphine so there for helps you sleep and also helps with pain. I don't know what a goods night sleep is. I have NEVER had one. I have speep apnea so I am regularly woke up. Also frequent bathroom visits. I may have had a few nights could probably count them on one hand that I have slept through the night. When my sleep apnea hits I have a wolf (Ebony) that is trained to wake me when I stop breathing because I just can not do the c-pap machines. Those who have it emitt a sound that lets the machine or the service animal know to wake us! I will post a photo of Ebony in my album in the photo area so all can see this beautiful life saver of mine.

WOW ((((((((((((((Nikki)))))))))))))))) way to go on being carded I did until several years ago but I was still being carded in my 30's but this Monster has stollen that from me and hung many years on my face and body. Now I get furious all the time because I am asked if my HUSBAND is my SON. God give me a break!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so glad the Imetrex worked for your Mom Hun. Just tell her if she is taking the shot form at home and has any heart trouble to give it as far away as she can from her heart. I am on Imetrex as well and I have to put the shots in my right thigh. As when I took in left arm caused immediate heart attack in the Doctors Office. About scared him to death we were over 20 miles from a hospital in any direction and all staff had left no-one but him and I there. I thought he was gonna have a heart attack LMAO!

((((((((((())))))))))))) gosh I wouldn't want Lorazapam either I tried it and had the same reaction I did on the Trazadone. I have problems with paranoia sometimes to gosh will drive ya crazy! Gosh girl be careful with the alcohol I use to do the same thing and now I am an alcoholic but have been clean now for many years. Again all I can say SALONPAS & maybe a pain reliever.

((((((Anita)))))) Sorry you are feeling bad and yes many of us get headaches that are determined to hang around but again I will say Salonpas & V8!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Put 1/2 a salonpas on forhead and can put 1/4's on tempels and apply a whole one to back of neck and Drink V8 until it goes away! You can also try holding an ice cube on the insides of your wrists. I forgot that was one of my old tricks I used and it helped a lot too. I also have a doll that is a life size new born and feels like real skin. She cries, giggles, her eyes close slowly and look like real lids and lashes, she coos. She takes a bottle and a pacifirer and really sucks and makes the sucking sounds. Thank God she doesn't wet but I got a diaper on her just in case LOL. Her name is Christian Faith Gates! I will post a photo of her in my photo album. We get newborn clothes to fit her LOL! I also sleep with a stuffed animal and I am 46 real close to 47 LMAO!

I pray you stay that way maybe you can be one of the lucky one's among us! And can give us great reports to give all of us some hope! As for the diet the best way I know to go is the Lo-Carb route. I loose the most weight with it but it is a lifetime of maintaining on it! Glad to see you post hope to hear more from you!
