Guest guest
Hi Everyone, When I joined this group, I thought it would be a nice way for me to meet others with my disability and to discuss some day to day issues about living life and how to deal with some of those issues. Unfortunately, I have come to realize that most people in this group use this group to complain about all the pain you have. That is just not my cup of tea. I live each day to the fullest, and I will be damned if I let this disease get the best of me. I work, live independently, drive, have a social life and LIVE. I don't sit around doing nothing unless I really can't manage and that hardly happens because I just don't let it get to me. I have had this disease since I was 18 months old and I am a wheelchair user because of Stills, but I have a life. So, at least for now, I am going to say goodbye. I don't mean to make anyone feel bad. We all live our lives the best way we know, but I am not happy reading about everyone hurting and all the things you can't do and haven't been able to do. I refuse to give in and let this disease run my life and take away my pleasures. I do want to wish all of you good luck. Take care. Thanks for letting me join.Bari
