Congrats Dawn,

Those of us that are feeling better and have to keep up the fight for those who are unable and are ignorant of the dangers implants pose.

I am so very happy for you. Reading these posts everyday just makes me cry for every one still suffering especially the children.

Somehow I am going to get the word out even if it is to only one person at a time.

Thanks for the congrats Toni...

Me too, I get the word out to whomever I can. Still have to be careful as you must know because I get looks from people as if I'm just nuts or they just aren't listening. In that case I just say to myself " YOU WILL SEE DAMN IT, you will see... in time." It's a major struggle to battle big business and symptomatic medicine. We are up against some pretty powerful forces unfortunately.. but as with all things... this deception cannot last forever.

Hugs,

Dawn

Dawn,

I don't care weather others think I am nuts or whatever. I just hope that the idea stays in their head until it is needed. Some people think I am strange for being so open about what happened to me but I have never been a very private person. My mother had a beauty shop when I was a child. So the entire city was informed when I started my period. After that I had a child in charity hospital and everyone and their relatives came to look at my goodies. I asked if mine looked all that different from others.

I have suffered much in my life and i try to always look at the funny side of things. like I refer to my new breasts as raisins in a baggie. It's life and if you can't find humor in yourself it's gonna be real hard to find humor in anything else.

Try to find something to laugh at today. Remember, laughter is the best medicine.

That is absolutely wonderful news! THanks for sharing how wonderful

you are doing. that is such an encouragement for our ladies out

there who are still waiting to explant and nervous about if they are

doing the right thing. I know one thing for sure. I will never

take my health for granted again. Each day that I am able to enjoy

means so much more to me now. I am sure you feel the same way.

Hugs, kathy

> Hi Everyone!

> Just checking in to let you know how amazingly great I feel. It's

truly a miracle. Implants are out now since 4/13/05. I am currently

down from 300 mg armour and 25 mcg cytomel (astronomical amount of

thyroid meds!) to 150 mg armour and NO cytomel. For those who have

experience with thyroid meds you know what a major accompishment

this is ... I am an awe. I want to be completely off of these

thyroid meds and believe that I will be in a matter of weeks. So,

far every time I decrease I get even better. My body is telling me

that I can live without the external meds and can infact heal from

within... the body is an amazing thing in it's healing capacity.

away three years of my life as a result of the implant disaster but

then again I really did gain so much more insight to my life.. to my

body .... to my spirit. I still look at women with the big boobs

sometimes and think " Hmmm. " but that's it " Hmmm. " I know that I

would never want to go down that road again.. I would never want to

sacrifice my whole being, my whole life.... everything again... for

boobs.
