Jen,

Initially ia herx feels like you're getting worse

rather than better! . . . That can be scary! I would

suggest starting one supplement at a time, spacing

them out every few days. If you have a reaction, see

if you can figure out a pattern . . .i.e. did you take

it with or without food? lay down after taking it?

what did you take it with? If you'll keep a daily

journal on what you're taking and how you feel, it

will help you understand what's going on.

What happens with a herx is that toxins get stirred up

and, until you eliminate them, or they find a new

" home " you may feel more symptomatic. The supplements

are most likely creating an internal environment where

your body is trying to get rid of some of the negative

organisms. Just hang in there.

Successful detoxing involves recognizing a herx and

managing it so it doesn't become a deterrant to

continuing. If you were to go into a detox center,

they would put you through it at full speed. . . But,

when you're working on your own, you need to pace

yourself to what you can handle while carrying on with

what you need to do. It take time, discipline and

patience.

After a while, you'll come to welcome a herx because

you'll know you're moving the gunk out and you'll soon

be feeling better than before. If you feel like

pushing yourself, just know what's going on and don't

get stressed over it.

Hugs,

Rogene

Yes that could cause a herx. Hang in there because it should get

better --but remember everyone herxes at a different rate. Some may

last a day or two, some may last alot longer.
