Guest guest
Hi, My son's doctor prescribed Alinia suspension for him to take 300 mg daily for 20 day and then continue to take 300 mg 2 days per week for 2 months. He recommended to take it for 6 months, but will check again after the initial 3 months. So far my son has been drug-free, antibiotics-free since birth. This is our first Rx. I have a few questions and hope the group can help me with. 1. Where can I have it compounded to rid off any artificial flavorings, colorings, undesirable yucky stuff, etc? 2. What are the side effects your children have experienced taking Alinia? What have you implemented to successfully reduce the side effects? 3. Does Alinia cross the BBB? 4. What organ detox supports have you in place? Have they been helpful? 5. What gains have you observed when on Alinia? Have the gains been retained after being off of it? 5. Did your insurance over the cost of Alinia? How long of the treatment did they cover? My son's doctor used ICD-9 code 136.9 - unspecified infectious and parasitic diseases. Our primary goal of using Alinia is to treat GI tract and protozoa parasites. For those who might be interested, Alinia is said to potentially treat Hepatitis C as well as clostridia. http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=49030 I appreciate any information you can provide. Thanks. Limin
Guest guest
I tried Alinia for my 12 yr old son recently. Our insurance covered a 30 day trial(caremark opharmacy insur}. The first time we tried it at about day 5 we had to stop. He was crying and seemed miserable. He is verbal but not conversational enought to tell us what was wrong. WE then tried it again about a month later and were able to finish the 25 days w/ no problems. We saw no gains from using it. It did make his pee flourescent yellow. Guest guest
and all,Parton for one more question: Did Alinia affect your son's gut beneficial flora? My son's doctor did not specify timing to give Alinia. I have an impression that it should be given with meals. I usually give probiotics at beginning of the meals, and leave the empty stomach timeframe for our biofilm protocol and other antimicrobials in general. Thanks.Limin ,Thank you for sharing your experience. Do you mind also posting your son's body weight and the dosage he took? Guest guest
Hi Limin, My son no longer has gut issues due to lots of biomed for years. That said, I never give a strong pharmaceutical like allinia on an empty stomach. A lot of the script drugs cause nausea if given on an empty stomach so I always gave it after a meal. This was not per any doctors recomendation just a Mothers gut opinion. Payne suggested I try allinia. I thought you also used him for the zyto scans. Maybe he could answer some of your Q's. You can email him and he responds fairly quickly. I think at this point he may have the most experience w/ allinia. Do you suspect your child has parasites? I just tried allinia on a whirl.....no proof my son had or did not have parasites. Guest guest
Limin, my favorite compounding pharmacy is Dollar Drug in Santa .
